Kalli had waited while Sidney and the doctor had talked for a moment then when it seemed they were done Kalli waved him back over to show him around the ship. He was a little intimidating but that wasn't going to stop her. The Captain had asked her to show him around and she was going to do just that.
"Well I think ya met everyone then, now we just got to get ya familiar with the ship. That over there is the medical bay. but guess ya know that since the Doc come out from there." she said as they walked by the medical bay.
They started up a flight of stairs and around a corner. The next spot along the way would be the quarters and dinning area. The dinning area had seemed pretty larger to her but that was probably because there were only four members of the crew till Sidney joined. I should be able to easily sit eight to ten people really. She liked the idea of having more people on board. Sometimes it seemed like there weren't enough people to talk to. nothing like back on Persephone where the streets were always crowded.
She spoke as they walked pass the quarters. "We still got a few more quarters on the ship so ya can probably pick any open one ya want. If ya got any preference. And that's the Dinin hall right there. I always like sittin down with everyone ta eat. Reminds me of home. Like went we were kids and all." She was glad she got to give the tour of the ship. It was a good thing she had taken the time to get to know the ship so she wouldn't get to lost.

Sidney listened as they walked. She found himself actually listening to what she said at least somewhat. She did quite a bit of it and it kept him from having to. Sidney struggled to keep up with her on the stairs as she bounced up them. His knee was not to conducive to stairs anymore.
When they made their way down the hall to the through the quarters and passed the dining hall he took in what she said about being kids. He could remember back on his parents ship when he was a kid. The dinning hall was set up just about the same on their ship though a bit bigger back then. "Kids huh? been a while since I thought about those days." he said softly to himself.
As they made there way farther down the hall he pushed the hatch open to the last crew quarters right before they would turn the hall to the engine room. "This'll work." he stated as he tossed his bags down the hatch in the his new room. It wasn't much but he never has had much everything he needed was in the two bags everything else he had was back on Haven a long way from here.
He turned around just to see her turn the corner toward the engine room. He picked up his pace and followed her around before he ended up losing her. He wasn't sure if she would even notice that he wasn't behind her or not. Might be his chance to slip away but they were on a ship and she would track him down eventually and he would have to finish. Might as well get it over with now.

Kalli Walked in to the engine room right down the way from the quarters. A smile crossed her face. This was her new home and it was where she spent more of her time these days. She was still surprised that she actually made it aboard a ship. This was everything she had dreamed of.
As Sidney walked in behind her she began to speak "Well this is it. The heart of the the. My pride an joy. Welcome to the engine room." Kalli walked over to the engine and began to run her hand down it.
"This is the Blue Sun Trance Compression Block. THere are ctually two of them." SHe explained as she made her way deeper. "Right here is the transfer case and power regulation unit. Need a bit more work but shes getting there." Pointing to another spot along the engine she exclaimed "That right there is the RCS thrusters. It runs the radion accelerator core."
She became more excited about it as she spoke And last but defiantly not least is the mark VI Firefly Thermal Core Drive. Most the time it's just called a Firefly Drive though." That was her crowning peice. The pride of the ship. A Mark three Firefly usually housed a mark IV or V drive but Ben had a Mark VI in his weather he knew it or not. That little upgrade would allow much more to be done with the ship then the prior levels but it was also a little more fussy at times.

As Sidney walked in the engine room it didn't take but a second for Kalli to start rambling about the engine. 'Typical mechanic.' Sidney thought to himself. Every ship mechanic is proud of their engine room and Kalli was no different, other then maybe more so then most. Then again she was new to it so Sidney could understand, not that he wanted to hear it.
He thought again that the Captain must have had her take him for the tour just to test his patients. Sidney recognized a few bits and pieces of what she was talking about he had done a bit of this type of work in his past but never was to good at it. "Seems like quite the set up for the ship. Question is will she fly?" He inquired after she mentioned it needing some work. He never was a fan of that saying 'needs a bit of work' that usually meant trouble was waiting for them.
"So whats next on this tour." Sidney asked in hopes of moving along so they wouldn't spend all day there. He tried to sound at least a little enthusiastic as to not seem unappreciative of the tour.
