How about this thought Tris; You go off and get drunk the night of the Returning to the Core thread and eventually Tari goes to retrieve you for one reason or another. On the way out and into the roads they get confronted with a couple thugs and get into a small tussle (where tari will be mostly useless sadly) but one of the guys is nearly killed, maybe put into a coma -- who turns out to be some high standing guy's kid or something -- but Tari sends Tris ahead to the Trinity to stay behind and check on the guy who got hurt / making sure he's alive or somthing
When the friend comes to he keeps Tari there til the cops show and formal arrest and charges ensue..ect

I just saw the thing about the Veasna. Sad times. Sam will miss the ship, and go on a dangerous violent spree in memory of her dear Captain.... despite that she's not dead. <3
Now Sam needs a new ship to fly. x: Haha. But I understand the Veasna thing... it was pretty dead a lot of the time.

I know I'm reviving an old topic but I didn't want to create a new one just for this; I'm dropping Phoebe and putting Sibil on hold (until hopefully the esteem gets back up and running)
I'd like to make a new character or two and I don't want to overload myself and end up with twelve characters again.

It's just too tempting, I know! Hehe. :x Which is why I retired a few. Sam will miss fixer girl. But there will be other fixers. :B I am *tempted* to make just one more seeing as Jove is more of a planet-side, sometimes-used character. But have resisted for now. I was thinking of Sam getting her own ship, but not being the Captain. No idea how that would work, though...

I'm thinking for one as a crime boss PC, so she'd be more active in the 'verse than my other's who are purely situational. I'd have to pick a good planet for her though, was thinking Paquin
