New Neutral Ship - The Veasna

There are 4 other open shuttles for rent (6 in total - 1 will be for Myra, and another reserved for a future renter), renting a shuttle doesn't mean you /HAVE/ to be a companion. Your character may just prefer the option of going off on their own when the ship is on planet and a shuttle would give you that freedom. And you may not even have to pay rent on the shuttle if you're a crew member; such as gunhands and the like who are needed on a crew (however for a fresh recruit that would have to be bartered with the cap'n on )

As the Pride class ship is perfect for passenger transport, folks wanting to simply be passengers aboard the ship are welcome as well~

We shall use this thread to flesh out the details of the new ship!

So the concept is that they're sort of gypsies with a robin-hood twist.

they salvage/steal/con to get by or when they need to but they do help people in need, they generally just want to live and enjoy life and help others to do so

-they might have done work for many of the various crime bosses in the 'verse at one time or another

-also a passenger ship (entertaining atmosphere, like you may expect from gypsies)

Other than that I don't believe anyone else has yet to claim a specific spot so feel free =)

I will wait until things are decided and those current members who wish to claim a spot do so before I decide on a position on the ship

While I'm perfectly ok with a mixture of folk I would like at least a few "gypsy" like characters for this ship, perhaps a couple related or something of the sorts. These folk would have been the ones to first establish the ship

For characters that would have been part of the ship for awhile we can work on linking histories as well in diff topics or via messengers and the like - I would like this thread to remain ship related

This sounds like a fun idea, and hopefully a crew can be gathered for it.

I might think of making them a pilot if one is needed, but if there's plenty other people that want to join, I won't take up the spot!

Also two possible PBs I'm thinking for what shall be my character is either Kate Beckinsale from Van Helsing or Noomi Rapace from the new Sherlock Holmes --I'm leaning towards Kate though, I mean it's Kate, how could I not

I'mma delete Ryleigh and Szarka, most likely to cut down my numbers and replace them with my semi-made pilot I had started elsewhere, Sam Grady. She'll probably be a little space-piratey, but that counts with gypsy and robin hoodsie, right?

I wouldn't mind her being an established character. Do we have a name for the ship, or are suggestions being taken? I can think up a few, but it's up to the ship's creator most likely Or who the captain/person who owns it is.

As for Sam's pb. I might reuse Ryleigh's. Or look for something else. Hrm hrm... If the Exotica wants to still use Ryleigh as a very in-post random background NPC (not as someone played, just like, used for extra things in the back), then that's fine.

Not to get off-topic or anything x:

Ship naaames... the Veasna (opportunity, good fortune), the Cholpon (Venus; the planet), the Alsvid (All-swift)... few suggestions! I also had a salvage ship once that could latch to things and tear them apart for pieces called 'The Tick' haha.

@ Jove - I like the character idea no names yet - and no one has claimed the captain position yet, but if no one does I will~

Also I like the Veasna (opportunity, good fortune) - I think it goes quite good with the ship ^_^

More suggestions are welcome though, we can take a vote on our faves if need be

Again the only spots taken now is the Cooking by Johan, and now the Pilot by Jovey - and the Mechanic by Sasha if she wishes~

For established characters we'll work on the back stories and such after while ( and after I settle on a spot since I'm wanting an established character as well )

Hey all Ky here- this will be my character for the ship (first mate or captain - depending on if anyone else would like to be the captain since i've got one cappy character already)! I'll be wanting to get started on some of the background information with the established crew asap - So if anyone else is interested in a role on the ship now is the time to speak~

If anyone wants to establish their character's history and relationship with mine via PM or messenger instead of posting on the forum just shoot me a message

Also still looking on opinions for the ship's name, otherwise we'll go with Jovey's of Veasna.

And we also need a color for the member group for the ship, if anyone has thoughts on that as well - feel free to post the specific color codes on that

Sam is in the process of being made. I also have a character linked to her that I'mma either make a temp NPC for something later on, or put up for adoption. Former pirate friend that deals in arms/drugs/what-have-you~ He could organise a dirty job that goes wrong or something.

She may or may not have a replacement arm. Due to some piratical accident.

I wouldn't know where to start on a colour. Something... gypsy? Robin-Hood-like? ...Green? Lolol.
