Sibil was sort of glad the meeting was over and they had been dismissed. She had alot of work to do, first she'd have to decide how many officers to put into the teams and go from there. Looks like it was another sleepless night. Not that she would complain of course, she loved her job. Honored by the appointment to chief of security and that Tigh seemed to value her input on things.
It bothered her how informal Commander Fairchild was with the Admiral, there was a relaxed attitude and then there was just plain informal. Wrong. This was the military, not a sheriff's station on a rim-world. Just as she was about to bid the Admiral good night with a promise of having everything done on time, things changed. Tigh asked her to stay behind the others. Inwardly she cringed because of the presence of Lieutenant Owen, the rumors would just get worse now.
Sibil stood and waited for Cavina and Owen to leave the room along with Fairchild. She had her hands behind her back but stood relaxed, as relaxed as she ever got when with the Admiral. "Yes sir?" Whatever it was he couldn't say it in front of the others, she was curious as to why. Perhaps it was a situation un-related to the new assignment.

After the others had left and accepted what Tigh had requested he walked back over next to his desk. There wasn't much to talk about really just needed to make sure she understood exactly what he needed her to do. Over all she would be his lead officer on this job. She would be running the show for all three department really. Though she would be directly in charge of Cavina's troops she would be responsible for their areas on the ground and would determine where her ships would need to be flying over at.
"I know I am putting a lot on your shoulders here Sibil but I believe you are the best we have here on the ship." Tigh explained to her. He hardly ever used the first names of his officers and defiantly didn't do it when others were present, But Sibil Tucker like William Fairchild were people he had grown to trust. William he had known for much longer but Sibil had proved to be someone he could put his faith in time and time again in the short period they had worked together. "Lieutenant Owen was right about one thing we need to focus on the crime bosses and I expect you will assist him with that to the best of your ability. I want to keep an eye on him as well and make sure he doesn't over step his bounds. He is eager and wants to pull his weight but he just doesn't know how to do it quite right." Though Tigh didn't know Orville He had read his file from cover to cover. He had the heart for what he did he just didn't diplay it correctly.
"I also want you to focus on a certian one person on Persephone in priticular. Duke Eugene Rider. He is a member of Parliament but has long been suspected of being involved in organized crime. No one has penned anything on him and since the uprising he has been building up to much political power. Something is wrong there." He knew Orville would know about it and would do his best to bring him down. The reason Tigh mentioned it is he wanted her to tread lightly with dealing with him and keep Orville from over doing it. He would end up getting alot of people killed if he didn't keep things in check.

Sibil stood and simply listened to Admiral Vangard as he spoke, she was flattered at his compliment of her. She worked hard through all her training and her way up the ranks. It was paying off. Someone took notice, despite her history. It did surprise her a little that he addressed her by first name, he knew she was a professional officer, proper and all. "Thank you sir, I take it as an honor that you've put so much faith in me." She let off a slight smile, months ago she wouldn't have. Slowly, very slowly she was letting herself relax.
"You can expect my best Admiral, as with everything I do. With Rider, in your opinion if I may ask, do you beleive we have a chance of getting one of ours on the inside of his operation? Or should I avoid that plan of action." She knew very little about the Duke, but if they could get someone on the inside they had a good chance of succeeding in taking him down. Or perhaps find one of his men who knew things and had access to documents they could use, if they could turn him against Rider..that would work as well. "If we get an extra detatchment of security we won't be spread so thin. We will also be able to expand our focus to perhaps Minerva Colt as well."

Tigh was glad to see her enthusiasm about the mission ahead. They could use more of that around the ship. Moral wasn't down or anything but he wanted to get the crew excited about the future of the Alliance. This mission and the leadership he had would be just the thing to make that happen.
"Odd are we won't be able to find much on the Duke and getting someone inside will be near to impossible we don't have much to run off of on his opporations and he his usually on Bellerophon so pinning anything on him will be hard." He began to explain. It indeed would be a hard run to deal with the Duke and they would have a much better chance with Minerva. "I just want to make sure if we have the chance to put a pinch on someone working for him we do everything we can to make it hard. As for Minerva she will honestly be our main focus here on Persephone. If we can crush her opporations we will have a much easier time here."
SHe was right to select Minerva as a traget She has run this planet for a long time and if she went down then it would put the crime world in chaos. Even the Duke had to go through her for many things. "I expect you to get with Owen at some point tomorrow and get a plan set up between you to." He told her. This was all he needed to let her know but he wanted her to understand his perspectives on it and didn't especially want Owen trying to interfere the kid was ambitious but he needed someone to keep an eye on him that would be Tucker in this case.

Sibil listened to the Admiral as he explained about the Duke. Chances sounded slim that they could catch him on anything. They could probably find plenty of people who worked for him though, the catch is to make them admit it. Then an additional problem of then trying to get them to help the Alliance bring him down. Not easy when you're betraying what might be a big-time crime boss. While the Alliance wasn't weak in the 'we can protect you' sense, there was protocol and paperwork for that sort of thing, while the crime bosses just point and shoot. So the time it takes to write up your requests and submit it, then wait for four other jack-asses to give you the okay your informant is long cold in a back alley swimming in his own blood.
The second target she had mentioned though sounded like was going to be the main target for this part of the operation. Minerva was their main focus, crush her operations, throw her world into chaos and she will make mistakes. Then it was just a matter of gathering the evidences and putting her away. Sibil silently hoped putting her away wouldn't come into play, a woman like Colt might want to go out in a blaze of glory and bullets. The Lieutenant Commander would be more than happy to provide that for her, the evil she's probably done in her time as one of the big crime leaders on Persephone? Yeah she'd deserve a bullet, not three hot meals everyday for the rest of her life.
Sibil nodded at his mention of meeting with Lieutenant Owen. She gave the Admiral a salute, "Yes sir." That was all. Meeting over, but she waited for Tigh to officially dismiss her.

Tigh had a good crew on his hands and with Sibil as his top officer on the job he had little worry that things would end up going as planned. She had given him what he needed t feel comfortable in know the job was going to get done.
It had been a long day and he had kept her late enough. "Your dismissed Lieutenant Commander. I'll see you tomorrow with that report." He returned her salute and allowed he to depart the room. It was time he finish up his initial report for high command then call it a night. Tomrrow he would have to file a final review of the staff plans and submit the request for additional security personel.
