Sibil smiled ever slightly at Sidney, taking his paperwork, only glancing at it before handing everything over to Adamala. "Thank you mister Bainbridge." He hand volunteered more papers still though, she took them and again handed them off. Normally she would be the one to review them but with the presence of Owen's people on her teams now that job went to them. If they needed to let her know anything they would. At least should. Sibil still didn't fully trust Orville, she wasn't sure as to why though.
"Just a routine inspection I assure you, unless of course you have anything to hide. So long as all is well you'll be on your way shortly." Truthfully Sibil didn't expect for her team to find anything here. If the Duke was as good as the Admiral let on, yeah they wouldn't find a single thing. It wouldn't be this easy to have someone let them know this ship is working for the Duke and then of all the luck in the 'verse find everything they needed to put him away.
Sibil didn't think of the inspections as a waste of time, it just wasn't thought through when someone decided to hand down orders. Something this large-scale needed double of not triple the amount of forces they had. Her men were being pushed past their points, and the Chief long past her own. Once they got the extra security force here though, she could give her men a bit of a break to regain themselves.
"The Alliance has seen fit to begin inspecting as many ships coming in and out of Persephone as we are able. What with all the illegal activity that has been left un-checked." She shared a bit of information with Sidney and what crew could overhear them. Sibil didn't hold any reservations on telling the folks what they were doing. It would become wide-spread knowledge very soon once they began their operation in full. The Alliance wanted Persephone back, and as far as she was concerned, they would have it.
"Now, if you'll please answer my question mister Bainbridge, is this everyone that's on your ship?" She didn't need anyone hiding away in their rooms, that's a good way for someone to get shot. Or start an all out fight as it were, something that Sibil didn't want to ensue but she was prepared always if it did. Her team wouldn't begin until everyone on the ship was accounted for down here.

So the Alliance is working to retake control of Persephone and the Esteem seemed to be their spearhead. Interesting that the Duke hadn't mention this fact to them but then again this must just be another step along the road. The Chief of security was the issue to deal with right now. "As far as the cargo goes, there isn't anything to hide. For the entirety of my crew, well there are still 3 that haven't made it down here yet, my pilot, my mechanic, and my Medic."
Sidney turned around and began to walk away from Sibil. for all he was concerned he was done dealing with them. Anything else he said wouldn't have much of an effect to change the situation. He walked over to James, still standing near Layla, Cadan and Kalli. "gor'ram Alliance trash." He said loud enough for everyone in the cargo bay to hear. He was not happy about the situation, not one bit. "Seems you bet me to it with Cadan."

Kalli was stayed standing next to Cadan and the others as Sidney dealt with the situation. She was ready to take her shot at it but was waiting for the opportunity to step up. She knew Sidney was doing his best but honestly she thought she was more suited for this kind of encounter. She had been born and raised around this kind of thing all her life up till a few years back.
Finally Sidney came over and stood by them, obviously agitated with the situation. The fact that they were standing face to face with the Alliance and he could do nothing about it. Though not near as strongly she felt the same way. the Alliance had messed up and lost control for what they did. Kalli felt that was what the people had wanted, what she had wanted and now here they were trying to take back what wasn't theirs anymore.
She nodded at Sidney's remark and walked over toward the Alliance officer that had been doing the talking. She looked at her rank and the rank of those standing around her. She didn't notice the Admiral who had been standing in the background. Not getting involved in the goings on. She would not have figured to see an Admiral on the boarding party. "Lieutenant Commander, This is a private vessel, registered to a planet outside of the Alliances control, doing business on a plane outside of Alliance control."
She paused briefly as she pulled her Ident card from her pocket slowly as not get them in a frenzy. "You have rules and regulations you are to follow." Again she paused as she handed the card over to her. "My father is a retired Admiral, former Central Command Chief Officer, and a decorated war hero. I know the limitations of the Alliance and I will be watching every move you make while on this ship." He voice was polite but stern. She stood rigid and authoritative similar to how anyone of a prestiges family would when dealing with an Alliance Navy Officer. She was raised in one of those families after all, even though they were not in the core she knew how life was in the Alliance elite.
"My Father may be retired by he still has friend who can decide the fate of your career or that of your commanding officer. I suggest you make this inspection quick and painless for all of us." With those finaly words there was a sence of urgancy and demand. None of the crew had seen Kalli like this infact even Sidney didn't know her past as part of the Alliance, that her father was an important figure. No she had always come off as an easy going young girl.

Sibil listened to Sidney explain again about the cargo the Trinity was carrying. It didnt matter really though, words wouldnt deter the inspection. "We will await their arrival before we begin then." She stated in reply to all of the crew not being present yet and Sid began to walk away. Sibil didnt attempt to stop him, no reason to.
His comment about the alliance caught her attention quickly though, she held his gaze for a moment before a man's voice behind her broke the tension. "Dirty independants wont never get over that they got whooped in the war.." He was going to continue but the look Sibil was giving him made his face turn red and he went silent. The Liutenant commander walked over to the ensign, her voice was stern and angry, "Ensign Catell. Report to my office now and we will discuss proper protocol until it's clear to you.' She watched him salute her and turn to leave after being dismissed. 'I expect you not to make yourself comfortable either ensign." Calling after him as he pssed through the hatch. Sibil glanced at Tigh for a moment before turning back to the crew, catching Sidney again, this time a slightly softer look crossed her face. The last thing any of them needed was increased anger and tension in the room. They never expected a warm welcome from those they inspected but there would be no provocation on her team's part, she wouldnt stand for it.
Attentions shifted again as a young woman approachd Sibil this time. She remained straight-faced while she spoke, until she reached a point where her career was threatened. Not to mention she did the same to the admiral's. Sibil had to wonder if the girl noticed that very man was in the room as well. The chief of security gave a slight grin as she took the id card, "I assure you I am very well versed in policy and procedures." Sibil felt a slight annoyance at the girl, she didn't appeciate threats, espcially when nothing had provoked such things. The annoyance didn't show though nor express in her voice. She'd take out her aggressions later in the shooting range. "As far as my career goes miss. You can have your father pull any strings you'd like but he'll have to get in line. There's plenty of folks already that have threatened my career, and yet I am still here doing my job. I don't expect that to be changing anytime soon."
Sibil stepped away from Kalli to hand off her id card to Lieutenant Owen herself. Getting some distance hoping that the tensions would cease so that they could get this ordeal over-with. Then she would go spend a bit of time yelling at the ensign who would be waiting in her office.

James kept glaring at Cadan even with the Alliance's friendly boarding party onboard. He's gaze was only redirected from the man he suspected of tipping off the very boarding party. When first Sid began speaking to the Lieutenant Commander and then Kalli. James felt no need to step forward and declare himself in charge because all though he was the registered owner of Trinity he hadn't been the Captain for a while. His hand was sore from where he had hit Cadan and his leg was still hurting. James had a feeling that he knew Lieutenant Tucker from somewhere but couldn't place it. James shared Sid's disgust "Tell me about it leaning up against some crates he stroked his beard waiting for Tucker to do whatever she had to do. He was sure he knew her from somewhere. "I don't trust the little worm one bit! I would bet my ship he tipped them off!" whispered so that only Sid could hear.
NOTES: *Still no Internet trying my best to keep on top of things on my phone. *Sibil just trying to add a bit of drama to the topic I'm open to anything if you want them to know each other.

Sidney Nodded to agree with James. He was right the Kid could possible be a rat, and if things didn't go well here with the Alliance he could easily be left in space behind them. "We'll get this all figured out soon." He quietly told James.
Sidney walked over to the intercom. "We need everyone in the cargo bay, now." His voice was clearly agitated but not at those who weren't present. He wouldn't be present if he didn't have to be. His agitation was at the Alliance officers on the ship. They could easily conduct there inspection with out the others there. At least get the cargo bay done. The longer they were here on the ship the hard it was going to be for Sidney not to find an opportunity to strike at one of them in some way.
A few minutes passed before the whole of the crew was in the cargo bay and ready for things to proceed. "let's get this over with we have business to be doing." Sidney said to Sibil.

Kalli was displeased with the reaction she got from Sibil. She had hoped they would back down more then they had but there was't much she could do about it. Sure she could try to contact her father, not that she knew where he was. He surely would be able to do something for them, but that would actually requre her talking to him again, something she had no intention of doing.
They had called her bluff and won, but she could make it as hard as possible along the way. "Good luck then Lieutenant Commander." She replied to her then walked off to the back of the crowd.
She looked over a Sidney to see what his reaction was but he hadn't payed it much attention. To be honest she was worried about what he would think of her for how closely tied to the Alliance her family was. He father was an Alliance war vet. Infact it was his ship that had lead a major portion of the deep strike on Serenity Valley that brought the war to a close.
There was no doubt that his men and Sidneys men had faced off in some way. Sure her father wasn't on the ground for the fight but his actions led to alot of lost lives on the Independent side. She still had ties t some people in the Alliance even, no one with power like the people her fther knew but still. She never told Sidney even though he had trusted her with many details of his past. What would he think of her now, she had come to look at Sidney as a father to replace her own. 'I'm Sorry' She mimed with her lips to Sidney when he looked her way.

Tigh looked on as the security team went about their business. The situation was unfriendly as expected but surprisingly more hostile then expected. When the young lady threatened Sibil and Tigh himself he was intrigued. It wasn't often that a boarding party received a threat of this sort and most defiantly not on a ship like this.
Sibil handled it well though her staffer not nearly as professionally as would be expected. That is something that would need to be dealt with though it seemed Sibil had that under control. Sibil took the young unidentified girls Ident Card and handed it off to Orville. Tigh waited a moment before approaching him to see who she was. He didn't recognize her and there were several still living former Central Command Chiefs out there.
"If I may Lieutenant." Tigh said as he grabbed the Ident Card from him. He still didn't recognize her but he last name stood out to him. He knew right away who her father was. Admiral Killian Bernett, though Tigh had never met the man in person he knew who he was. Tigh had been a Captain of a ship back when Admiral Killian was in that position, In fact it was Killian who had signed his promotion papers to make him an Admiral himself. It was standard for the Central Command Chief Officer to sign in all Admirals. Though it was made official by Parliament.
Tigh walked over to where Kalli was standing waving a few of the security team to come with him. "Ms Bernett, it seems you have earned yourself an audience. I am Admiral Tigh Vangard and commanding officer of this ship." He began in a polite voice to start with but as he got the pleasantries out of the way his demeanor change to one of unpleasent authority. "Your fathers time in service has passed. You have you and this crew treading on thin ice with your attatude. If you don't want this ship to be impounded I would suggest you correct your approch in dealing with my detail."
Tigh leaned in close staring straight in her eyes. "Your father has plenty of friends I am sure but I am to old to care about threats. If you want to see who can push harder then feel free to try young lady." Tigh voice was stern and uninviting. Her father surely had the ears of people who could make life hell on this ship but he could bluff to and for now they had to deal with him and it would be unpleasent if they wanted it that way.

Roger was still an Independent no matter how the war ended and of course he did not support the Alliance. Yet the war changed nothing. He joined for the same reasons he resisted Alliance authority now. Defeat had not embittered him. He did not resent Alliance citizens or soldiers for his fallen comrades or for his own wounds suffered in war. What he resented was forced government that had proven to be corrupt and immoral. He resented a police state in which the military reached beyond their authority and violated the rights of citizens instead of protecting them. Slavers, reavers, pirates... it's not like there weren't real threats that the Alliance could be working to fight instead of acting tough and intimidating their own people.
As the admiral stepped forward and confronted Kalli, Roger wasn't going to keep quiet about it any more. "So you become an admiral by threatening young girls who call you out for operating in an illegal fashion? I'll be sure to take notes in case I ever try to pursue a career in the Alliance military."
"The fact of the matter is that she's right. You have no reason to detain us let alone search us at gunpoint. We are not receiving the due process of the law and in doing all of this you are disgracing the very Alliance you have sworn to protect. And you wonder why so many were willing to lay down their lives and fight against you..." Roger was firm in his tone, accusatory of course but calm and nonthreatening. His words had already won and he did not need the Alliance to be provoked into something. Anything they did other than leave would only prove his words right.

As soon as Tigh was done talking to Ms. Bernett another of the crew began to speak up and challange him. He understood their protests. Odd were he would have reacted the same as they had if he were in there place. The facts were though that Orders had come down for them to do routine inspections of ships, of everything. They were to regain Alliance standing on and around Persephone and that is exactly what they were doing. This ship just happened to be of interest.
"I do understand your concerns but the Inspection stands within legal bounds and there for will proceed with or without your cooperation. Your complants will be noted and any further questions can be directed to Lieutenant Owen." He said as he pointed out Orville to the crew. It would be best if he took the questions to allow Sibil and her team to focus on their job. Not to mention Orville would be able to find any information possible from the crew.

James was beginning to lose patience with this whole situation. He could see his fellow vet Roger beginning to get frustrated so James thought it was best to try a different approach. The Alliance liked nothing best than to feel like they were in control so a little bit of sucking up wouldn't hurt "Admiral" James said as he stepped out from the crowd that he was hidden behind. Limping over he stood a mere inches away from the Admiral. He was sizing him up "We would like nothing more than to just get back on track" he told the Admiral as he put pressure on his cane to allow him to stand "If you wouldn't mind getting your search over and done with I would greatly appreciate it" he handed the Admiral his ident card. James just wanted to get back on the move and needed rest his leg still wasnt fully recovered.

Sakura heard footfalls on the floors all around the ship as everyone moved around to get things hidden or to find the proper documents required to present to the Alliance soldiers. Seeing as how she had nothing illegal in her possession, she took her documents out of her bag and put it in her pocket. She then wore a belt with a holstered pistol on safety, just in case things got furry, though she had no illusions whatsoever that her pistol could take on a massive Alliance cruiser-full of soldiers.
Walking out of her room, she headed towards the cargo bay and upon walking into the bay, she spotted the Alliance soldiers already making their rounds with the rest of the crew. Once on the bottom floor next to the others, Sakura pulled out her documents and handed them to the officer. "I don't suppose we've done anything wrong, so I assume this is just a random search." She obviously knew that the search wasn't random and something had happen for such a large Alliance ship to take notice of a simple, Firefly-class ship. She did not know who would betray them, but it was obvious James assumed it was Cadan. Though Sakura was a 'shoot first, ask questions never' kind of soldier, she felt that she should hold back her assumptions until she got more evidence on what he was being accused of by James. There was no reason in pointing fingers just yet, they were being searched and questioned by the Alliance and knowing who was the tattletale won't change their predicament. She simply stood beside James and watched the soldiers, her arms crossed over her chest. "You'd think they'd be at least a bit humble after everything..."

His room was dark and there was a soft scent of coffee in the air. He downed the last of his mug of coffee as he watched the video feeds of the Trinity in the Esteem's docking bay, watching as soldiers rushed in to check out all the passengers on the ship. As the soldiers scanned the passenger's documents, their identifications popped up on his screen beside the video. A few were independent soldiers, notably of high ranks, but nothing out of the ordinary. The audio feed was very low quality, but he could hear the crew of the Trinity complaining about their 'random search'. All of the sudden he heard a new voice. "I don't suppose we've done anything wrong, so I assume this is just another random search" She sounded very used to searches of the like, maybe even a convict. As her documents were pulled up, Adrian looked at the files and chuckled to himself, amused by her records. "Well, this is something you don't see everyday." There were countless accounts of murder, theft and destruction of Alliance military equipment. Of course these were all excused following the end of the war, but she did hold a very impressive report nonetheless. The records of the other independents were similarly as brutal, indicating that the group must have been part of frontline battles often during the war.
Standing up, Adrian put on his uniform and walked out of his room, heading down towards the docking bay. As he reached the Admiral, Adrian turned to face Admiral Vangard crisply and stood at attention. "Admiral, permission to take part in the search." He knew that this was a typical search, but he was interested in taking part for once. Ever since his acceptance to the naval academy, Adrian had never taken part in any up-close action; something he had always wanted to do. This may not amount to anything that might've happened during the war, but it was still action nonetheless. Plus there were other reasons for him wanting to take part in the search...

Tigh looked to James as he approched. He was the first to be willing to go along with the search. Looking at his Ident Card before responding he thought about his responce. "Yes of course Mr. Clark, we have no intentions of holding your ship up any longer then we have to. It is always a challange begining new procedures at each planet. For future referance I would make sure you allow for time for searchs when enreting Persephone orbit."
He handed the Ident card back to the man and proceeded to walk to the back of the contengent of soldiers. He had only stepped up to put a stop to the iritation hopefully. He knew Sibil would be able to handle it herself but he still liek to get in on the action with the rest of the soldiers from tiem to time. "We'll be out of your way very soon I assure you all."
As he finished speaking Commander Inaka entered the ship and requested permission to join in the search. "I see no issue with that Commander but remember this is Lieutenant Commander Tuckers oporation and thus her jurisdiction." Tigh was a firm beliver in the fact that the most experianced officer in any oporation had command even when he was present it was still her oporation to handle as she saw fit. "Tucker, Commander Inaka is at your disposal." He informed her as he took up position at the hatch back in to the Esteem.

Sibil watched everything unfold closely, the Admiral took an interest in the girl who had made a decent attempt to influence the inspection. She had to give her props for that sort of bravery. When a second man approached Tigh he caught her attention immediately. She hadn't noticed him really before because she was avoiding lingering too long in Cadan's direction. Sibil stared at the man, her mind reeling back to a number of months prior. Her short vacation on Paquin and even shorter romance with that very man. He looked like hell at the moment, but still handsome. James Clark. Definitely not the person she expected to run into. Even more-so that they were apparently working for the Duke. Sibil made sure her features stayed neutral but kept her eyes on James.
Once the Admiral made it back to the group her attentions shifted taking notice of Commander Inaka joining them. She nodded at the information. An extra hand was always welcome, especially since she had to send one of her own men away for being a rude imbecile who couldn't keep his mouth shut.
Now that all of the crew were present in the cargo bay they could begin their inspection. Sibil had already assigned the teams into groups of four, three security officers and one of Lieutenant Owen's intel officers. "Commander you may join my team since we've ended up one man short." She gave the man a slight smile. Sibil's team was to take the bridge, front hall and the kitchen area. All of the teams were assigned specific areas to handle, it had all been set up in advance since deck-plans were fairly standard. Though one team had been assigned the cargo bay alone because it was the one that required the most attention.
A small group of officers were of course left at the hatch with the Admiral and Lieutenant Owen. While Sibil and her teams did their inspection Orville was free to do his interviews and finish the personnel checks. Sibil had left it up to him to decide if there were any further inquiry needed of anyone on the crew.
Sibil and her team were one of the first to complete the inspection. She waited for reports from the rest of her teams. "Everything is in order so far Admiral."
