Asking the Captain to straight up leave his ship after just getting home eventually dawned itself on the mechanic, and Arthur realised that the man was probably not in the mood to leave. Bad form on his part. So distracted was the gentleman by the presence of Ms Tari. Still, he didn't forget his brothers in arms - his Captain and crewmates. When it sank in, Art nodded a little more soberly. There was still the nature of James' absence - not that Art would ever need to ask - and the job they were planning. It would be best if Art were to handle the public relations side of things while James settled in back home. Sidney was a man good at keeping a ship in once piece. Good First Mate material to take the fall when it was needed. To shoulder some of the weight of responsibility. Not that the entire crew themselves didn't pull their weight. Art himself had proven to be the most long-staying member of the fair Trinity.
That said, Sidney's words were only half-listened to, and as the mechanic moved to go with the new recruit, he did seem to forget his 'brothers in arms' sentiment. The box of parts were casually handed off to the gunman, but he'd stop a step away and slide back before Bainbridge with a pat on the shoulder.
"You're a good man, Sid. We won't be long. Scout's honour." That last part was said with a small wink before the mechanic moved off.
He caught up with Tari quite quickly, and offered the crook of his arm for her to hold.
"Shall we?"
A nod was given in passing to the young lad as he made his way on the ship - apparently it was a good day for taking on hands. Sidney was already taking it into hand, though. Ship would be full again in no time, it seemed.

Sidney's mention of an early departure made the thief happy, she didn't want to be here much longer. The longer she stayed the higher the chances were that she would get into a tight spot, with that came the chance of losing her ride of planet. However, this was going to give her some alone time with the mechanic, the handsome mechanic. Tari grinned happily as Art made his way back toward her direction. She did take a moment to see where her luggage sat, surely it'd be safe to leave them for a bit. These folk seemed alright enough for that, this would be their chance to assure her. So long as no one thought to rummage through them she was safe.
The man held out his arm to her when he came up, a gentleman, how about that. She smiled and allowed herself to blush ever so slightly as she took Art up on his gesture. "Why thank you mister Doyle." As they walked off of the ship she gave the newly arrived young man a smile. Tari kept in step with Art, making the walk smooth and keeping quite close to him also.
"So handsome, is there anything in particular you're craving?' Tari took a short look in his direction, her smile was now more mischievous with her words. 'Since the ship doesn't seem to have a decent cook this is your one chance, and I'm not the domestic kind of girl either. No point in me trying to even deny that fact." That was at least true, there was no way she'd survive as a house-wife or anything. The girl didn't have a domestic bone in her body, except....yeah. There was always that.
