The Whore House Rat (Amaya)

The Red Tiger Saloon, Athens; April 7th 2519

The wind was blowing and the weather was a mess out side, exactly what one would expect on Athens. Sidney hardly ever made it out to Athens as a matter of fact he avoided it he had never had a good experience on the planet and he thought it best to avoid the place. This time though he was called out here for a job by someone he couldn't say no to.

Word was some Alliance folk were out in the area and that someone was looking to have one of them not make it back off the planet. Sidney was to meet up with Amaya at the Red Tiger Saloon, a whore house really. The man frequented the place and it would be his chance to get some eyes on them. Then he could decide on how to deal with the problem.

Sidney walked in the saloon and made his way up to the bar. The place was bustling with happy costumers. It didn't take him but a few seconds to spot Amaya in the crowd. She had told him she would be "working" at the place as a waitress. He raised his hand up to flag her down as anyone else would with a waitress. "I'll take a Bourbon on the rock." He said with a smile to her as she approched. He surveyed the place for anyone who looked to be any sort of alliance officer of any sort. Everything seemed clear so far.

Amaya had been working at the Red Tiger for a month now. It was all part of a plan to take out a certian alliance official. She herself had put out the hit on him but she hadn't told Sidney it was her. This man was one of the few that she still had to worry about. He was one of the ones that had caused her and Sidney so much trouble in the past and she wanted him gone. The thing was is that she didn't want Sidney to know it was her who wanted this done. For some reason she felt she had to hide it from him.

He would have done it for her in a heart beat but she couldn't bring herself to ask for that for herself. No she would pay him and say it was someone else who wanted it done.

Today was the day Sidney had said he would show up. SHe had been working there for a few hours that day already when he finally did make his way in. She didn't even notice him until he had asked her for a drink. "Of course Sir, is there anything else I can get you?" She replied as she stepped behind the counter and fixed up the drink he had requested.

They would have to get to somewhere private to talk about the situation but first she wanted to point the man to Sidney. He had arrived just a little while before Sidney had and was sitting at a corner table. "If you would like a quieter spot to sit sir, there is a quiet table in the corner over there that should be freed up soon." She told him as she pointed in the direction of the table. The place was crawling with Alliance officials at the moment ss they needed to be decrete about exchanging information.

Amaya quickly responded to Sidney about the drink and asked him what else he would like. Then she pointed out the corner table where the man was at he took a quick look over his shoulder at the man in the back table. Definatly an alliance officer. Still in his uniform and all. Now to figure out how to get a chance to do what he had come here for. "I wouldn't mind a private table but it seems that one is occupied. have any clue how soon it would free up." He asked her. She would know he was wanting to know how soon he would be off to one of the private rooms with one of the girls.

That would be his best chance there. When he was heading to one of the room. Infact if he played it all right he could have this job over in a few minutes. It would be a risk with so many alliance officers in the place but he has faced harder jobs then this. "in fact I was wondering if I could pay for a room. would you mind showing me to one of them?" he inquired. That would offer them a private chance to talk along with setting him up with a place to conduct his business.

Amaya was happy to see Sidney again after 7 months. It was had to go all this time without seeing him but she had managed somehow. She tried her best not to let it show but the smile on her face would have been a give away to anyone who payed close attention. " I believe that table shuld be opening up in the next 15 minute or so as the patron there should be heading in to one of the rooms soon enough."

This should let him know that he would be in the back shortly and that he could finish things up then. If Sidney wanted to deal with it like that, without taking some time to set up anymore plans. SHe trusted he had everything figured out. He always did. "Of course sir, I would be delighted to show you back to a room."

She waited as he stood up then escorted him up the stairs and down a hallway to a room. She opened the door and waited till he entered, following behind him as she closed the door. "I'm so glad you are here Sid, I've missed you." She told him as she wrapped her arms around his neck and Kissed him. SHe wouldn't have much time to spend here with him before she would have to head back down and bring the other man up to the room. She would bring him to the room next to where SIdney is so he could deal with the person right away. :I'll have him up in the room just passed this one in about ten minutes. It will still be another few minutes till one of the girls is up so that would be your best chance."
