Pirate Head Count: 3 Downed Pirates
Joshua grumbled as his eyes narrows. They were in his ship, which was good, they were on his ground, giving him the upper hand, however, they were better prepared than he had thought. It seemed the Captain could choose a good crew, something he didn't think one so young could handle this early in his game.
He had his remaining men back to the second holding position, he crouched there and fired, only grazing the woman, he cursed himself for it. He wanted her unharmed for future encounters.
"Jury, Ranger, Mag, They don't get past this point." The three men nodded and crouched down near that door, they took shots when Dru needed to reload.
"You and you, narrow that entrance the best you can, I want him to drop that shield." Two crew members began pushing boxes and crates to block the entrance, hoping to disarm Jeff of his shield. Things were not going down in the numbers he wished it had, however, the fight was still young.

Lars took a deep breath, double checked to make sure his gun was loaded, and sprinted through the door, taking cover opposite Dru. He felt the bullets fly past him, and one of them nicked his coat, but he was otherwise unharmed. He crouched against the crates that were stacked up, and tried to keep his heart from beating quite as fast. He peaked around the corner of the crate, and several bullets flew in his direction. He recoiled, but he had seen at least one of the men who had taken a shot at him. Bracing himself, he leaned out from behind his crate, and fired at the man. He fired three shots, and the man fell back, against the floor. Lars didn't know if he was dead, but he was certainly not moving. The pirates were pushing crates across the floor, he could hear them, but he didn't see them. He looked at Dru, who was bleeding from a wound in her arm. Weston was still back in the door, but he didn't seem to be having any issues yet. Lars tried to get Dru's attention, to ask her if she could see anything. He looked out from behind the crate again, and almost immediately, he felt a hot burning sensation in his shoulder. he fell back behind the crate and swore. Ripping his coat back, he saw the wound. By some stroke of bad luck, the bullet had hit him right where the body armor stopped. It looked quite nasty. He ripped off his shirt sleeve and went about trying to tie a makeshift bandage, hoping the other two would cover him.

Second hit to their side, Jeff was keeping count. He had to move again but sound told him he had to turn up the pain. Removing one of the heavy stun sticks with his left hand triping the remote activation. Extending the stunner he picked his time to toss.
The toss was good even with the heavy fire from the few pirates. Sticking the prongs into the central area of the deck. Stepping back behind cover he reach for the other. Signalling for them not to progress he raised the stunner and pressed the switch. The heavy stunner electrofied the floor grates of the central decking. Weston smiled as heard the screams of pain from the pirates. Pushing the case shield forward Jeff kept pulsing the floor grates. He did not have to worry about being shocked his suit was protected.

Joshua's head count: 6 Downed Pirates
Joshua watched from his perch, yes, they were indeed good. He considered the cargo bay a wash, which meant only one thing. Signaling two other crew members they sealed the stair ways leading to the second floor. The only way up now was a ladder carefully guarded. Though Joshua figured that would not hold experienced mercenaries. He retreated to the cockpit for plan B. He began preparations to open the cargo bay doors.
"Warning, 2 Minuets before cargo bay doors open." A woman's voice sounded over the PA. He cursed himself for not disabling her, though he was fairly sure it wouldn't matter.
"Come on Jury, Ranger, get up here so we can close up this hatch!"

Dru continued to spray gunfire in the pirate's direction, she hadn't been aiming for any of them, not yet. She was only giving the others the chance to get through and get cover as well. Lars had made it through she noted, and seemingly taking a hit as well. This wasn't exactly ideal since it was only the start of their combat.
The pirates had begun to block off part of the exit, hoping to limit their casualties by making their opponets come at them one at a time. That's when things took a turn, for the worse of curse. A female's voice on the overhead, Dru grimaced. "Cowards!" she hollered even if none of them heard her. Damn pirates.
They had two minutes to do somthing, either return to their ship and shut the hatch losing their chance on board the pirate vessel; or stay and chance the bay doors. With the other pirates seemingly retreating now Dru looked over the area, had to be another way. There. A ladder, and surely heavily guarded. This was probaly what the bastard wanted them to do. "Got to find something to cover the climb so we don't shot on the way up." her voice wasn't as loud this time, only speaking so lars and jeff could hear as she nodded at the ladder.

Lars was definitely feeling the wound in his arm. He had tied his shirt sleeve around it to try and stop the bleeding, but it was still oozing, and the pain was quite apparent. He heard the voice talking about the doors opening, and he swore. They were going to try and win the fight that way then. He heard Dru shouting at the pirates, and he was tempted to join her. He braced himself for the pain of putting weight on his arm, and pushed himself to his knees. Looking at Dru, he heard her say something about a shield, and she nodded towards the ladder. He couldn't understand everything she said, but he knew what she was trying to say. He looked around for anything they could use as a shield, and his eyes fell on a piece of metal that was lying up against the wall behind Dru. He pointed at it, with a questioning look in his eyes, hoping she would understand. He didn't know how much time they had, but he knew it wasn't nearly enough.

Jeff heard the call for a retreat by the pirates. So now the ladder was the only way up to them. He noted that Cap and Dru had their plan. Now was his time to make a rush. Popping the back latches that held the case as one, he took his amo side to the ladder. He only slowed to pick up his stunner and rake those who were the most affected. Holding it as a riot tower shield he again layed down short cover fire form those from the upper walks with his left arm.
His right shoulder was telling him that he needed further rehab. Also his freind were as well going to have to deal with the same issues. Calling out to Dru he pointed to the other half of the case and made an open hand sign. The gun he had was not the only one a second was hidden under the case foam, and besides the case would give her cover when she handed the cap her piece of metal that he had told her about.

[[I'm winging this one! :3 if anyone wants me to change or edit anything just let me know <3]]
Dru saw that Lars had pointed at something near her, she began to look around herself. Spotting a piece of metal against the wall. Before she could go grab it Jeff had moved and then called out to her. Confused for a moment she tried to figure out what he meant, looking over to the gun case he had been using.
Making a quick dash over to the area she took a quick check of the case, finding a second firearm beneath the foam lining. Dru smiled wide and happily at Jeff before she picked up the other half of the case to again cross the room.
Looking over the metal piece Lars had pointed out, it looked as though it would work. Though it was a little smaller than she would have liked. It would have to do. Slipping Jeff's gun over her shoulder the mercenary headed over to the ladder, holding the metal above her head with one hand and held onto her favored pistol with the other. Her second pistol had been left for Jordan, but Dru hoped that the mechanic wouldn't have to use it.
Dru climbed the ladder as quickly as she could, as she got closer to the top there was gunfire from above. Thankfully the metal was holding up well against the bullets. The metal was indeed a bit too small for the job, a bullet fragment ricocheted off the wall and hit the woman in the thigh. Causing Dru to gasp and falter a few rungs back down the ladder before catching herself, more determined now to get to the top.
At the top she had to make a move, with all her force she slammed the metal that'd been used a shield into one of the men who had been leaning over. With him distracted Dru took aim at the second man and fired three shots into him. Before dropping to the floor on one knee, her leg demanding a slight rest from the pressure. The pistol went back into it's holster, it was time to try out Jeff's gun. She swung it around to get hold of it, taking a few shots at the man that had been slammed in the face with a unhealthy piece of metal.
Any other men who were up here had taken cover from the gunfire, "Hurry up." Dru called down the ladder, hoping the guys did so - they didn't have much time left. As soon as they were both up the hatch was closed quickly by the mercenary. Well they hadn't been sucked out into space, that was something.

Lars followed behind Dru, and was climbing the ladder as she she called down to hurry up. He did the best he could, while trying to ignore his arm's screams of protest. He got up the ladder, and dove behind some cover. Dru shut the hatch after Jeff was up, and there was a moment of relative calm. They weren't going to get spaced, and Lars was extremely relieved. Lars had put the pistol back in it's holster when he began climbing, and he pulled it out now. Before he could use it however, one of the Pirates came charging at him, knocking him over, and the gun went spinning off across the floor. As Lars was carried off his feet by the man's impact, he brought his knee up and drove it into the other man's gut, feeling the man's breath driven out of him. They hit the floor, and the man scrabbled around on the floor, trying to take a breath. Lars was dazed, but he got to his feet, and drew his sword. The man tried to bring his gun to bare on Lars, but before he could fire Lars slammed his foot on the man's gun and drove his sword through the man's exposed chest. Wrenching the sword free, Lars crouched next to the dying man, and said in a voice full of hatred, "That is for the family you tossed into space you son of a B****!" Lars didn't know what had happened to his pistol, so he grabbed the rifle the pirate had been using and then stood up, pressing himself to the wall. He wiped his sword on the man's body, before replacing it in it's scabbard.

Pirate Head Count: 10 Downed Pirates. 1 Recovered Pirate.Honey's eyes opened slowly, her head hurt slightly but other then that she felt fine. Then her worse nightmare was heard over loud speaker."Warning! 30 Seconds to Cargo Bay Doors Opening"Honey jumped to her feet, and wiggling her hands she was free. She smiled to herself about the thought, someone didn't tie her up securely. Running to the doors that connected the ships, she closed the one closest to her, trapping her inside of the enemy ship.Looking around it was time to take her job to phase two. She walked slowly, though now it was more of a waddle she had to admit. She didn't expect there to be anyone else on board however, it was always good to check.
She started with the crew's rooms, finding a spare gun she moved to the engine room. Once there, she removed the compression coil, fuses and a few other things, causing the engine to stop. Next stop for her was the cockpit.watchasisoar.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=bjorncockpit&thread=2272&page=2Joshua stood watching his men fall. He stood hidden among the twists and turns and watched as three more of his men were killed. There were only three left, and that included himself.
He waited, waited for his chance, the last two men were in the cockpit, one dressed as him. If this group of fighters looked down the hall, all they would see were his men, fighting them to their last breath. When the chance was right, seeing his new lady harmed, she would fall behind the others, he would pull him into his chambers, for a small chat.

With the shutting of their hatch door meant two things one the crew mates in the cabin were getting nervous and two.... the preged one got loose. Sighing Jeff now knew what he had to do and that was take over this ship by taking the bridge to get their's back.
So up the ladder and pushing past Dru he placed the case shield between them and the other pirates. Thankfully the climbing was not so bad mainly because Dru had clearedf the upper deck. Now it was Jeff's turn to push up. Heaving the shield so as to gain the most protection for them all he worked the hall walls to avoid the slight chance of a bouncing bullet to get past.
This case shield was perfect for this type of work it gave protection forward and allowed them to break off on the sides to clear them out. Weston had to make his way their bridge and remove the final threat no matter if the others could keep up or not. He removed one of his stunners and shocked the door's latch to make sure that no one was holding it shut and also burn out the mechanical locks.
Banging on the door and using his helmets meched voice...Open up or were coming in heavy handed with no quarter mates.

After Lars passed him he reached out, holding his hand over Dru's mouth and pulled her into his office. Joshua locked the door and spun Dru around so he could look into her eyes.
"Hello my sweet." He said with a smile. "Now, I know we're just learning to dance together. However, how would you like 500 Platinum to join my side and kill those buggers out there?" He smiled at her, and for the first time they were able to see his face.
He wasn't bad looking, though the scar over and through, his right eye damaged his good looks. The scar was fresh, no more then a couple weeks old. He was still adjusting to being blind on that side.
On the other side of the cockpit doors the pirates took cover and waited.

Dru was taking a minute to allow herself to rest before following Jeff and Lars. Ripping some cloth strips from one of the downed pirate's shirts, she tied it around her arm and leg. The bullet fragment would need tending by a doctor of some sort, but it couldn't be helped at the moment. As she finished tieing the last knot around her thigh, wincing in pain; something else happened. Quicker than she could react at the moment. A strong hand covered her mouth, dragging her into a room. Her weapons were quickly removed as she struggled to get in a hit on the man. The anger in her was raging and screaming to give her attacker pain.
She was then sat in a chair of some sort of office, hearing the door lock behind him. This wasn't good. No weapons, no backup. Dru glared at him as he spoke, the only thing that caught her attention was the mention of money. She scoffed at the offer though, "Oh please, like that's really enough. Go to hell you bastard." Her voice was full of anger and disgust, despite the fact that she was very much stuck where she was for the moment.

"Then what would be enough?" He moved around the deck and opened a metal box. "1,000?" he tossed a the money, in paper bills in front of her. "2,000?" Another pile of money landed on the desk in front of her. "3,000?" He threw the last pile he had in the box before her. Sitting down behind his desk he just looked into her eyes.
"Honey, the amount of cargo in the back hold is more than enough to paint your world Gold." He looked her over the second time as shots began being fired from behind the closed door.

[[Joshua actions in blue -- to help pass the time and do some combat in between Dru & the pirate man Josh until the boys break in]]
Dru grinned at the pirate, as he offered her more and more money for her betrayal. Looking over the bills he dropped in front of her was tempting, though he wouldn't get exactly what he wanted from her. She slowly got up from the chair, walking with as best of grace as she could muster in her condition, around the opposite side of the desk from Josh.
As she walked along the desk, she toyed with a few of the bills, picking them up only to drop them again. "Well the bigger the number the better your chances." Dru grinned in his direction again, picking up some of the money again, this time stacking it together. With a handful of cash in her hands she brushed it against her cheek, still walking. The mercenary was in front of the pirate now, her free-hand placed on the desk now. As Josh kept his eyes on her, slowly she grabbed the pen that was there. The only thing she had seen that would even be close to a weapon.
In a quick movement Dru threw the cash into his face, jabbing the pen into his shoulder.
Taking a staggered step back he pulled the pen from his arm. He cursed himself, she was a feisty one. It would make her submitting all the nicer. He threw the pen to the ground and took a step forward attempting to back hand her.
Dru easily blocked the backhand, she'd been expecting it. Taking that chance she tried to kick him where it counted.
Joshua tumbled over holding himself. He felt his stomach turn and tighten, clever, the harder she fought the more he wanted to obtain her.
Smiling now, the mercenary took another turn, kicking the man in the mid-section. Then going back for another after she was successful.
He allowed the second kick to connect, however unlike last time he caught her leg and punched her in the bullet wound.
Dru screamed in pain as her thigh throbbed from her wound, Joshua had only made things worse for her. She doubled-over, falling against the desk trying to use it to hold herself steady.
Putting both hands on the ground he pushed off, getting his good leg under him he stood and reached for his cane. "Still wanting to fight Beautiful?" He smirked at her, still hoping he could change her mind before things got to carried away.
Through clenched teeth and trying to put aside the pain, "I haven't even begun to kick your ass." With her last words Dru lashed out, throwing a punch at the man's face but he was able to dodge her.
As he moved he grabbed Dru's arm and pulled her from behind up against his body. He smelled her hair. "Someday you will regret fighting like this my Sweet." he whispered the words in her ears then shoved her away from him.
"Fat chance.." Dru replied to his words as she was pushed away from him. Quickly grabbing the metal box that had held money from the desk, she swung around hoping to make a connection with the bastard's face.
Seeing the flash of metal Joshua raised his arm taking a bone cracking hit. Letting out a howling type sound, he reached out for her with his other hand. Holding onto her firmly he pushed her up against the wall, he just glared into her eyes, his only option left was to either try and restrain her, or kill her, he took this moment to think, one of his few true mistakes.
Dru was pressed against the wall now, her injured arm being held firmly against her chest by a man who needed to die. Luckily he hesitated for some reason, she took that chance to use her good arm to strike the womanizer in his good eye.
Letting out another yell he backed off a couple of steps and swung almost blindly his cane at her.
Grinning she avoided his cane easily, crouching down Dru struck out, kicking him in the knee.
His leg moved to the side, he growled, no, she might have been a good woman, but no longer cared. Coming back at her, he punched her in the face, when her body moved to that blow, he kneed her in the stomach then a final punch drove her to the ground. He then pulled his gun from his belt and pointed at her. "We could have been so good together."
