After they had landed and gone through the security check it was time for Kalli to play and bring along anyone who was willing to go with her. The Duke was kind enough to allow them to explore the place and she was going to take in every inch of it so she would rmemeber everything about it when they left. Oh yes this was an amazing place.
"its so incredible I can't ait to see it all" She said as she jumped around walking down one of the paths in the place. there was s much to explore. She looked up at the hugh 4 story estate building that dominated the east side of the capus. It was massive and elagent but it was far from the only building on the poperty. The place was huge with 5 buildings in all across the 18 acre estate. A vineyard, a small grove of tree and every amenity you could imagine. This pace was spectacular.
She wondered down the path with the others who weren't gonig to the meeting in tow. She wasn't going to allow them not to come with. "Where should we go first?" She asked with a giant grin on her face. "I'm not sure one day is going to be enough to see it all." THe excitement oozed from her.

Some of the crew were finally off to their business dealings, which meant it was finally time to start exploring. Meilin looked at the buildings, eyes wide. She'd seen large buildings before, but these were so elegant. It didn't look like a place where people lived. And the idea that all of this was floating just added to her amazement.
"Well, maybe we'll just have to forget sleeping in favor of exploring." Meilin grinned as she stopped alongside Kalli. She was glad Kalli was one of the ones skipping the meeting in favor of exploring. Meilin felt less foolish about her own excitement now. "Maybe inside first? Or the Vineyard." How did you even choose where to go first? Everything seemed too appealing.

Kalli was glad that Meilin had joined her to explore they had only hust met let the two weeks prior but Kalli could tell she was going to like here. They had had a few interations on the ship and only scratched the surface of getting to know each other but this would be a great opportunity to further that. "I say we start outside, the sun is so nice and we hardly get that on the ship. Save the house for when it gets a bit later." She explained hoping she would agree.
Kalli trotted down the path toward the vineyard. "So why is it you decided to join a ship anyway. I mean other then fantastic places like this?" This was exactly why Kalli wanted to be on a ship. There were many days and night cooped up in that tin can ship but it was all worth the experience. The sight you would never get to see if you didn't Yes this was exactly perfect, how could one argue that.
They approched the vineyard that was near the edge of the island. She when to the edge of the place an leaned over the rail looking down. Below there was the beaches of a desert island and the vast ocean that went on forever. "You ever wonder how these things work. I would love to see what keeps it running."

Sakura had followed Kalli and Meilin to the edge of the floating palace but didn't say a word. Every time she opened her mouth to say something, she couldn't find anything to say. She wanted to enjoy some time with people outside of a battle or mission, but she found that impossible for her. Her whole life since she had left her parents had been about fighting, saving people, and barking orders to the men and women under her command. After the war she spent years away from civilization, miles from any other man or woman and even after returning to a city, she didn't speak much until James found her. That was even short lived because of the coma she had incurred.
It was then that she noticed she had never had a true friend other than James. But James was gone and she now looked down at the ground beneath her as she tried to think of something to say. "You ever wonder how these things work. I would love to see what keeps it running." Kalli spoke as they stood by the railings looking over the surface of the planet below.
"Clarais Model AGD-5928EX anti-gravity drive." Sakura said as she walked a bit closer to the two. "It's one of the newer anti-gravity drive models available on the market. It was just debuting here on Bellepheron right before I arrived on the Trinity." New anti-gravity drives were always big news. Clarais Tech. Industries was the biggest name in anti-gravity drives and were almost always the kinds used on Bellepheron since those who had houses here could afford them. Sakura now stood next to Kalli as she put her hands on the railing in front of her and leaned forward, looking out at the other floating castles and then down at the ground. "It's beautiful..." Sakura had never taken any time to really enjoy the view and finally having nothing to worry about or nothing to do, she finally began to understand why people enjoyed scenic walks or going to parks or even simply sitting down and doing nothing. It was... Relaxing.

Kalli jumped with excitement at Sakuras comment, nearly taking herself over the rail when she did. She steadied herself as she looked over the rail leaning out as far as she could to try and see under the island so she could see what was down there maing it all tick. "you really think they have the Clarais Model AGD-5928EX anti-gravity drive no this thing. I mean that thing is amazing.. and expensive"
Kalli pulled herself back from the rail and ran over to Sakura and Meilin. She grabbed a hand of both of them and began to pull them along with her not giving them much of a choice, at least in her opinion. "lets go see if we can get a look at this thing. THe Duke did say we had free range over the whole place right." Kalli was bubbling with excitement about the idea though probibly far more then either of the other two. It didn't even cross her mind that they might not be as interested in it. "So what do you guys think. Sounds like fun right?"

Sakura thought about Kalli's question for a while as they walked back towards the palace and nodded. "They most likely do have the Model AGD-5928EX. But maybe they also have the 6200 version that had been in the workings a year ago. I've heard a lot of horror stories about those though, so not sure if they're reliable.. The 5928EX's auto-balance propulsion system would be really useful for a palace like this, and if it's connected to the Alistar Model PCE-2000 power conversion system, the Duke would save a lot of money by getting a lot of his palace's energy from the excess heat and energy given off by the system. And if you see on top of the-" Sakura realized she had been simply rambling on and on to the two girls about the topic. She was happy that Kalli was excited that Sakura had a love for machines, but she felt bad since Meilin must have felt a bit left out..
Slowing her pace a bit, Sakura slipped behind the two and then shift over to the left and walked forward to catch up with the two, this time standing next to Meilin. Smiling, she looked over at Meilin. "You enjoying the scenery?" It wasn't the most original question to ask, but Sakura had no idea what Meilin's interests were and so she could go on rambling like she had with Kalli. She hoped that Meilin would open up so they could converse and so they all could enjoy their time. Though they would still head down to the engine room if possible, Sakura was extremely interested in looking at an anti-gravity drive of that size in person.

"I wanted to see about getting out and seeing more than my little moon. My ma always told me stories of my Pa adventuring in space and I guess I wanted to try it." Meilin answered Kalli's question as she rested her hands on the railing and took a look at the ocean below. They were awfully high up and she wasn't exactly sure if she liked the idea of just floating over nothing. She was curious on how it worked as well. Sakura finally spoke up to answer Kalli's question and the two girls launched into a discussion of the drive.
All of the tech talk was lost on Meilin, she didn't know much about machines at all. Growing up, most everyone around her used horsepower and manpower to get things done. Cheaper than machines. "Well," She added after a question about how the drives worked. "As long as it keeps this thing floating while we're here." Meilin smiled and gave a little shrug before looking back out across the expanse of the estate and the others floating in the distance.
She saw Sakura look over at her and returned the woman's smile. "Yeah. Sure is beautiful. Couldn't live here though. Too fancy and all that." Just a nice place to visit. "So, which way to the drive? I'm sure three girls like us will have no trouble getting in to see it." She smirked. The two girls were clearly very into machines, and Meilin had no problem tagging along if they wanted to look at it. There were plenty of other sights on the way there to interest her, she was sure.
