Trinity Revival?

Hello all! I was speaking to Kyla about the active ships and heard there's an effort to get Trinity off the ground. If this is still a plan, I was wondering if my character could possibly be involved. I haven't posted an application yet, but will if there's actually a use for him on this site. :)

I had been playing on a different Firefly RP that shut down, so I was hoping to bring that character here. What he's good at is being a pilot, though he can also be a mechanic. He's anti-Alliance and is skilled at smuggling. Yeah, Firefly, Star Wars, space smuggling interests me. Anyways. I don't know the allegiance of this ship and crew? Or if they need a pilot or mechanic? His background also starts him off with a bounty on his head (from a crime boss, not Alliance). If that's a problem or wouldn't work out with this crew, I can easily change that.

The Trinity is a Browncoat/Neutral ship. We're trying to get her started but it's a bit of slow going. We have both a pilot and mechanic lined up. Our pilots is who we're waiting on post-wise currently but it hasn't been so long that I'd classify her as presumed dead.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the answers! And definitely not trying to bump anyone. :) Is there any type you guys were hoping to add to the plot? I can create a different character, if it's nothing Tav would fit. Of course, still have to apply and get approved, but just trying to figure out what I should be shooting for.

Hey there! I think we actually are in need of a pilot. I'd recommend contacting Roger. He's kind of in charge of staffing the ship.

Well, as stated, we might be in need of a pilot. If your character is a pilot and/or mechanic then why not both? Naturally you can't be over powered as a fantastic pilot and an exceptional mechanic but you could shoot for a sort of "handyman" role on the ship helping wherever needed. If our pilot does drop off then you can take over that role. Otherwise you'd act as copilot and would lend a hand with repairs and such as a secondary mechanic.

Other than that, we've got Roger and Tristram who are both technically gunhands with no skills beyond fighting, but they've been "promoted" into Captain and First-mate positions so there is room for another gunhand. We also have Shield who is a shepherd. I suppose we could use another gunhand but we also don't have any definite commitments for cook or medic.

Dexter can cook..... sorta. But he is in the handyman zone for sure. Bits of this and that... vague on kneecaps

Oh, yeah, he could definitely be a handyman and back up pilot if they'd welcome that! He's a better pilot than he is mechanic, but he wouldn't be the primary mechanic in this case anyway, and he'd be more than willing to do whatever they want around the ship. Well, repair-wise. He's a lousy cook and only knows the basic first aid. :) He's also not all that great with guns (he's not much of a fighter) but sounds like that's okay when the crew already has the other gunhands.

So, thanks for all the responses, guys! I'll go ahead and get his application up tomorrow or the next day. What about him having a bounty on his head? Are these guys likely to turn him in if they find out? Because, like I said, I can remove that part if it won't work out. It was just the basis for the plot he was originally in.

The by whom, I'd have to figure out, because I don't know the baddies in this game. But the why is for thievery. He's not actually a thief, though. It was... an accident? The bounty would be around a year old, too, so it's not fresh news. :)
