Just as Lars had expected, the news wasn't good. "Well at least he isn't really dead." Lars said with a sigh, wiping his face with a hand kerchief, and then looking around. He listened to the rest of what the doctor had to say. His face fell a bit farther at each limitation the doctor put on the situation. When Lance had finished speaking, Lars nodded and shrugged.
"I can fly fine," He said, with a wry smile, "Not as good as Trace, but I am alright. And a damn sight better than some." He smiled a little, without caring if he sounded cocky "Well, keep him in here as long as you need, I have some things to take care of before we get out of here." He nodded and then walked out of the infirmary.
Well, he thought, This is just ruttin marvelous. No only did the gorram drunkards make a mess of things and delay us more than we already were, they had to go and break my pilot. He groaned and threw his coat on the bed as he entered his office. He grabbed his sword and buckled it on, then heading out of the office and down to the cargo bay.
"I'll be back in a bit." He called over his shoulder as he left, nodding at Weston and Mac, and then heading off to deal with what he needed to do.

Weston was dumping the last of the bodies off the ramp when he heard the coms pipe for the Cap. When the doc called often it was not fully a ggod thing, yet he had to admit that the doc wan't with out his skills. pathing him up before they landed was a decent thing and good job. Still he was worried a bit for the young man the doc was woring on the hit was a solid hit and may have got his bell rung hard.
When the Cap. came back wearing his sword and that look of a holy hero at war he did not have to listen to the following,,,'I'll be back in a bit.' to know that all heck was was going to break and a butt may have to be pulled out of a fire somewhere. Walking back up into the cargo bay past the new fellow he went over to a case of his that held his guns. With a click it opened showing only his two MP-90's and a few cases of rounds clips. Taking out one and closing the case he moved back to the new cazse he was dragging when all this mess started. Twisting a outside latch a clip popped out like and old candy dispenser. Pocketing that one he moved back onto the ramp and waited for the fat to hit the fire.
It looks like it's going to be one of those days. What's more I not getting paid for it.

After checking the unconscious drunks for weapons and identification, Mack helped the Captain and the new stranger move the bodies off of the ship. But after the Captain was called into his ship, Mack stopped what he was doing as well, because he noticed members of the local authorities among the bystanders watching the aftermath of the fight.
Mack strolled over to them, identified himself as a Marshal, and explained what had happened. He also listed the numerous crimes the group had committed, and the various injuries they had suffered because of such. The policemen were satisfied and while they left to get transportation for their prisoners, Mack attempted to disperse the crowd, only succeeding when the Captain passed by, wearing a sword.
So then the Federal Marshal returned to the boat, only to find the stranger with the sonic gun loading other, more dangerous weapons. ”Is something else going to happen?” he asked.

I surely hope thing are going to go well. Yet with the Cap anything is possible. Him taking his sword was not a good first sign. So.....be ready. Oh wait your our guest, never mind. He'll be right as rain on St. Albans.
Jeff chuckled with a sigh. Had many known what they went through none would be in a hurry to hire on or be passangers. Jeff had to admit the Cap always seemed ballsy to him. Time will tell the out come of the next following events.

Lance nodded at the captain, happy to have someone that could at least fly the ship in a straight line. So long as they didn't get in any aerial combat they should be fine having Trace laid up in bed. It was not ideal but they'd manage. The captain left the room headed toward the bridge and then passed by again in the other direction. This time he looked pretty pissed, as if his anger had boiled over since stepping out of the infirmary.
"Alright, you'll be staying right here with me today and then we'll see about getting you sent home down the hall." Lance stated to his unconscious patient as he finished with a few things here and there. "Now remember, no wild parties or heavy machinery while I'm gone." Having stabilized Trace momentarily, Lance followed out to the cargo bay.
Lars was nowhere to be seen by then, having already left the ship, but Jeff and Mack were present. They'd done a good job cleaning up the mess from earlier but now Weston was more heavily armed than before and looked ready for round two. Lance hoped the man was just being overly cautious, a better safe than sorry type situation. They'd be humped if hit by another attack. Trace was down, Lars was gone, Dru was MIA, and Jordan wasn't around to fight. You could bet that a follow-up attack wouldn't be drunks with fists but an an angry mob with guns. That left Jeff, Lance, and the mysterious stranger to hold the fort.
Speaking of which. "I assume you're with us now. Never got a chance to be introduced with all the fists flying." He said to Mack and then offered his hand. "Lance Howe, ship doctor." He turned more toward Jeff and continued. "Oh, Trace is down by the way. Mild brain trauma and he passed out on me back there. Someone really cleaned his clock."
