When requesting a graphic, be sure to keep some things in mind....
First off, do not expect your request to be filled right away. Sometimes it takes awhile for someone to make a graphic and sometimes people are busy in real-life. You may "bump" your request thread only every 24 hours. Bumping is simply posting a small message such as "Bump" to move your request to the top of the list.
Secondly, don't expect a person who's got a lot of requests on their list to have your graphic done the day after you request it. It takes time to produce a satisfactory graphic. Once again, you may "bump" your request, but do not badger the designer, especially if you chose someone who already has a lot of requests. Do not PM them asking where your graphic is or say rude things such as "hello? Why isn't anyone doing this for me?" when bumping your thread. It's their choice to do it in the first place, and being rude/impatient about it will only agitate the designer and they won't do it altogether.
Thirdly, In my case(and probably other designers, hence why I'm making it known), I usually only fill requests if I find them interesting, so be sure to make your request descriptive and specific, so the designer can simply find the photos you want and use them. There's nothing I hate worse than having to scour the internet for photos because someone hasn't given me any clue as to what to use other than "black hair" or something.
So when you request from me (Ursula), don't expect me to always fill it. Sometimes I'll fill your request, sometimes I forget and need reminding. Sometimes, I'll find your character so interesting I'll constantly make you banners and send them to you. Simply be patient when waiting for a graphic.
All you need to do to request a graphic is create a new thread and follow the instructions, much like the character application process. Enjoy!
