Ok, i just came up with this. Basically someone says something about themselves that is "nerdy" you then post something about yourself that is nerdier. We will try to see who can be crowned king or queen of the nerds

I occasionally berate people who claim to be hardcore fans of Star Wars on the SW:TOR (Star Wars The Old Republic, the MMO coming out later this year) forums for their lack of knowledge about the mythology/lore of Star Wars. Yeah, lol. Two or three years of SW roleplay will do that to you I guess. >_>

D'aw, I love a good nerd-off! I created two roleplay forums for nerdy fandoms I love  I own all comic books, DVDs and several T-shirts involving Firefly & Buffy. I'm currently working on my Doctor Who collection. I play Call of Cthulu (basically, DND but way more interesting) I think Star Trek > Star Wars I admire good CosPlay; I suck at it. But I did make a shiny little Splicer mask once! (from Bioshock) I still feel really uncool though because I haven't gotten any tattoos and I haven't been to ComiCon. ONE DAY. One day it will happen. |

I've been to 2 ComicCons and 4 Renaissance Fairs...
I own tons of Spider-Man, X-Men, Halo and Star Wars Comic Books and Books, I own all 6 Star Wars movies, and I have several game consoles including the old style Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, X-Box, X-Box360, not to mention Gamboy Advanced and Nintendo DS.
Oh, yeah, and I play an MMO called Fly For Fun (Flyff) and plan on playing SWTOR. I have also been known to berate people on the SWTOR site for being newbs and for when they call themselves hard core fans.
I also own Battlestar Galactica (all of it the new series unfortunately), Farscape (all), Star Trek Voyager (2 seasons) and lots of Anime.

I also own Battlestar Galactica (all of it the new series unfortunately) you got a problem with new bsg? grrr I playu sega genesis, watch movies on laser disc and listen to music on records. I have the Dalek "To Victory", Star Wars rock band, tron legacy, marvel and another star wars poster on my walls. MY theory is that using the multiverse theory of quantum mechanics, there are an infinite number of alternate universe. In an infinite number of these, the universe would have started differently and therefore these universes would have different laws of physics. Therefore there will be universes where magic is physically possible. If a portal can be opened to one of these universes, a magical item can be taken from that universe and used in ours. Thus inventing magic with science. I also play cooperative board games such as the BSG game and Arkham Horror. I am also planning a Firefly campaign that I will DM using modified d20 rules |

I saw darrens mention of Anime so I figured I would show him up on that one. I bought $1200 in one sitting. so I got that list beat.  plus a good $3000 more over time. Got all of BSG and firefly (duh) gone to 6 anime conventions, pirate events, and I almost religously watch any show on space and read every article about it as well. I can nerd it up with the best of you. |

I've also LARP'd as a cockney gunslinger. I flew all the way to America twice for one specific LARP that I'm sort of apart of but can't afford to visit anymore lol. I own all the SWs films, the majority of films/shows Adam Baldwin has been in. A looot of Sci Fi stuff. I've played games like all of the Resident Evils so many times I remember pretty much where everything is / what comes at me next. Also in Dead Space 1 & 2. I've completed Resident Evil 5 on all settings, know where all the treasure is and all the emblems. I've maxed out all the weapons. I'm currently doing that in Dead Space 2. I used to know all the Mandarin stuff from Firefly off by heart, as well as some Mando'a from Star Wars' Mandalorians. I tend to make countless characters that have a lot of little links to mythology, especially the names of weapons-- not so much now.
I also know all the songs from Ocarina of Time. Heheh. Also been playing video games since I was six. I have signed photos of Daniel Jackson and Teal'c from Stargate-- which I've seen all the seasons of and own only the ones I like.
I've been RPing for longer than I care to count-- yet pretty much remember almost every RP I've been in, and have, in my foolish youth, written fanfictions. xD
I used to watch an episode of Firefly every day for a couple of months solid. I could've quoted entire episodes back in the day, but I've sorta mellowed a little nowdays.
And if, given the chance, I would LARP as Jove. Or any of my most favourite characters I've made. But I do miss playing my gunslinger.
If I had the body for it, I'd probably cosplay Domino from Marvel or Jill Valentine.
