Persephone: September 1st 2517
It was a humid summer day on Persephone. The sun blazing in the early evening. Sidney had come to Persephone 4 days before on a discreet business trip. The kind of thing the Alliance need not find out about, that is if he intended on ever leaving the planet. His job there was completed all he had to do now was keep out of sight and waste away the two days till his transport arrived.
Sidney had spent the better part of the afternoon in an Alliance frequented bar just to keep tabs on this. He wanted to know if they had found out yet what had happened, what he had done. Everything had seemed normal, good thing with two more nights there, but he had made plans to keep out of sight he had set up a scheduled appointment with a companion. They are always good about being discreet and they was supposed to be meeting in about ten minutes.
Sidney stood up from his chair and walked out. He had been moving a lot this trip, a decent amount of that being running. His leg was sore and it showed with his limp being more prominent then usual. It was only a short walk to the place she had asked him to meet her. It was a good thing he didn't have to much walking left he could do for the day after the long night before.
As strolled down the street he lite a cigarette and took it deep in to his lungs. He knew it sure wasn't helping his lungs but who cared the hard part was over. Now was the time to relax and enjoy Persephone. "Hell of a place Persephone is, maybe I'll come back someday. his gruff voice called out to no one but himself.
The city he was in was busy and elegant. He stood out like a sore thumb. Must be why she wanted him to meet her at a fancy-pants clothing district. It would be a good idea to fit in more when the Alliance figures it all out. He walked up to the spot she was supposed to meet her. Even with all the other well dressed people around she stood out. It made since, all companion seemed to stand out.
He brushed himself off as he felt really under dressed now, then walked up to her. "pleasure to meet you Miss Lindsi, Sidney Bainbridge, glad to meet you in person this time." He said politely with a nod of his head. He could be civilized when he really had to. Just standing next to her probably made him look more reputable then he had ever looked.
