Major screw-up on Fireflywiki!

It's the timeline on the Fireflywiki. Most of them could be accurate but it states that Captain Mal is 49 years old during Firefly and Serenity.

Screw-up or possible? What do you guys think? I for one think it's a major screw-up. Nathan Fillion himself ain't even 40 yet!

Well you also have to take in to effect that their life span possible is longer. So they can live longer and probably look younger despite their age too.

That is possible I guess... However, considering Captain Mal's lifestyle and that of the rest of the Serenity crew? Besides, most other ages seem to be realistic enough...
