I do this on my other forum on the Holidays (Potterholics Anonymous) and I like you lot well enough...so I will extend this activity to The 'Verse as well, for anyone who wishes to participate!
On Christmas/Valentine's/Sometimes maybe birthdays, we've started swapping addresses so we can send each other cards and/or letters and the like. It proved to be a fun, successful time this Christmas and is looking to be the same this Valentine's.
I am sending out Valentine cards with AWESOME puppies & kitties on them, and if you're interested in getting a small symbol of my affection, then send me your address in a Private Message. I will not use your address for any other function other than to send you small sentiments, and I do not require you to give it to me. ONLY if you wish to participate in card-swapping (you don't even have to give one back! Aren't I nice?).
This is for the purpose of having fun, and while I believe I'm trustworthy, I understand if you are weary about trusting someone over the internet with your addy. I can give you the e-mails of people I HAVE sent stuff too, too, if you would like any sort of confirmation that I'm completely harmless (albeit a little goofy).
Just, as I said, if you would like something for V-Day this weekend...send me that address! I'll send you some puppy & kitty love. :]
