I have a confession to make!
As many of you are probably aware, BioWare has announced 12/20/11 as the release date of their ground-breaking MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. In the meantime, the developers are working hard to hunt down and squish bugs, as well as polish things up in general. To aid them in this endeavor, BioWare has been running Beta Weekends in which they select large numbers of the SWTOR community at random to play the game and provide them with feedback. Pretty much my dream job. This, ladies 'n menfolk is why I've been an absentee Admin as of late (^^
- I was selected to join Testing Squadron 238.
While I would love to tell you guys all about the game, the NDA is still in place and I have no intention of violating BioWare's trust. But, what I can tell you is that The Old Republic is awesome and well worth the wait. Basically, I wanted to post this to let you all know what I've been up to lately, and to assure you that I haven't flown the coup. I also wanted to see who else is excited about SWTOR and/or is planning on playing it when it comes out in December. Anyone else been following SWTOR since 2008 or so? What class are you most looking forward to trying out?
