All has been peaceful around the X-Manor, with the Brotherhood being kept at bay with minimal terror inflicted on the city, the X-Men are taking a break, going back to activities that they loved and enjoyed, like Storm to her gardening, Beast to his sciences.
After getting back from Florida where Professor Xavier was giving a series of lectures on Genetic Mutations, he was ambushed by a group of unknown assailants, nullifying his telepathic powers woth a serum which was projected through a dart gun. The X-Men came too late, to see an aircraft fly into the distance, and Xavier's wheelchair lying on the ground.
Now the X-Men must save the person who helped them through their powers, through hard times, and who was a role model to them all....
