Well, Riley here is a mechanic who hails from Beaumonde, which is where you have Onas currently unless I'm mistaken. It would be interesting to take young Riley back to his homeworld... see if we can't rustle up some mischief along the way I suppose? o:

that works, now all we need is a place to meet, and something to do. at the moment, onas is sorta stealing ships for profit, that could be a need of your boy's crew

How about a public gathering of some sort? Then something happens, like say, a hostage situation? I dunno, just throwin' wild ideas out there. xD Right now I'm thinking Riley is on Beaumonde to visit his Uncle Joseph, the one who taught him everything pretty much.

Um, maybe some kind of expo showing off some new tech? And then this group swarms in, some of them stealing all they can get their hands on, while others hold guns on the crowd?

ok, how bout this, lets say they show for the expo like you said, buea aint that exciting, so they both show for it like you said. Onas was accually scopin the up an up, learnin what would sell well in the future, and Ryan was there for the parts as am intrested party. once there, they get to talkin as folk who are both intrested in the same thing... im gonna wing it, a new part for the RG-226 Port Coil. they can discuss some techy stuff before the **** hits the fan, and then . ergg, whats the hook? AHHHH, i wanna write. we need a hook. what ya got?

Ok, good. Exactly what I was thinking.

How 'bout this: Although the expo's security has supposedly relieved everyone of their weapons, someone shoots one of the thieves/hostage takers. The thieves shoot back, causing chaos and mass hysteria, and our guys defend themselves. We could make the building/expo a large one too - maybe call it something like The Expo Center (or New Dunsmuir Expo-Center since I think it would be cool to have them in Beaumonde's capital city)- so that the stakes are raised and there are plenty of baddies to deal with.

so fi an roarks characters are buying a ship for one of thems captains, but its the same ship the onas has been paid to "procure," then when they all get jumped by a third party, say... misca's the blue suns, what do you think??

so they all show up at the expo right? then your two are there to buy a new engine port coil, onas is there to steal one, they all end up in the same place at the same time to get the coil, and about that time, the bandits show up and all hell breaks loose, then we wing it on our wits, now what do you think?
