Good afternoon 'Verse!
While the staff plots world domination we also do other things to hopefully make the 'verse a wonderful place for you all. We've been kicking around the monthly award idea for a few months now, yes we're a bunch of slackers. However it's time for us to try this baby out and see how it goes!
So just a few things first, the list of monthly awards are as follows: Male of the Month, Female of the Month, Thread of the Month and Big Damn Hero. In the future we might look to adding more, for one example, Couple of the Month.
For the Male, Female and Thread of the month we will be sticking to a certain set of qualifications rather than having folks nominate.
Those qualifications are as follows:
Male & Female of the month - Must have a minimum of 5 RP posts/replies during the reviewed month
Thread of the month - The topic must have been started during the reviewed month and have a minimum of 10 replies.

Deadlines to meet these guidelines is the day before the end of the month, for example this month the last day to qualify is the 30th, so that we can put up the voting process on the 31st.

Onto the Big Damn Hero! This award is for a player who has done outstanding things during the month. Not character mind you, player. The person behind the screen. We will be taking nominations for this award which will then be voted on by all you wonderful folks.
We would like for you to include your reasonings behind your nomination, however it's not a must. For privacy sake nominations will need to be PM'ed to Kyla or Kara rather than posted in a topic.
That being said!~ The staff would officialy like to open up nominations for the Big Damn Hero award so get to your message box and send Kyla or Kara some love with your nomination on Big Damn Hero!
