Enter into the world of the Blood, where women rule the land, and males are bound by more than honour to serve the females that are so special to them. In this land, one’s power is determined by the Jewels that they wear; the power bestowed upon them by the Darkness that they worship. Tempers run high, and life is a delicate balance between the Jewels one wears, the caste one was born too, and the social circles one runs in.
For the Blood, Protocol, a system that protects the delicate balance that the Blood must walk to stay whole, healthy, and alive, is changing. Morphing into something that is a caricature of what it should be.
