Sakura had been sitting in the dark room for a while now. There were no clocks and no star reference to guesstimate how long it had been, but she assumed it had been at least an hour. There was a soft tapping of footsteps outside the interrogation room, followed by the beeping of the keypad lock to the door. With a light hum, the door's mechanics came to life and silently slid the doors open. A soldier walked into the room and pressed the pad that proceeded to raise the lights to a dim lighting. The soldier was no one of importance, just a regular marine doing his job without much notion of what the overall objective was of a mission. His uniform marked him as a Sergeant, most likely her 'keeper' until an officer would come to question her. "Ms. Kina, you are to remain h-"
"I am to remain here until futher notice by an Alliance official. No I would not like anything to drink or eat and I would prefer if you'd turn the lights off, thank you." Sakura had been through this before and knew exactly what the Sergeant was going to say. The soldier looked offended at her cutting him off and it was obvious he wanted to knock some sense into her, but he simply nodded and turned off the lights, walked out and locking the door once again.
Sakura was wearing dark blue jeans and a white collared shirt, as formal as she would ever get in a typical day, but on this occasion she had always worn a jacket over her shirt, claiming that 'the Alliance ship was too cold for her liking'. This was obviously a lie since the ship had better heating and A/C than the Trinity ever could considering its size, but she had somehow tricked the soldier who had brought her onto the ship to letting her do so, probably to keep from bringing about any unnecessary quarrels with her that would upset his superior.
Underneath her jacket she was wearing a bulletproof vest that had gotten through the ship's checkpoint, but her guns were left either on the ship or at the checkpoint, leaving her unarmed, but decently protected. The ship was a nice, cool temperature, just how she liked it, but it had a sensation of quiet, not even the hum of an engine penetrated the thick walls of the cruiser; something she had never gotten accustomed to on larger ships.
Crossing her arms, Sakura leaned back in her chair and waited for the officer in charge of interrogating her to walk in and get this over with. Almost as soon as she closed her eyes to get some rest and think her few days awake through, the beeping of the keypad rang in the room, with a hum of the door opening replying in return. Light flooded into the room as Sakura opened her eyes, squinting to look at the figure at the door. A man with an average build, and nothing to particularly outstanding about him, but she knew not to judge a book by its cover..

Commander Inaka had tidied himself up following the search before dealing with the browncoat. He may not have respect for the independents, but that didn't mean that he had to look like a slob because of it. Once he was well prepared for the interrogation, he made it way down to the interrogation rooms and walked towards the Sergeant guarding the cell he was headed towards. "I hope the lady is doing well, Sergeant?" Adrian asked as the Sergeant saluted. "Yes sir, though a bit sassy if I may say so sir." Adrian chuckled at the Sergeant's comment and stood at the front of the door. "Let me in, lets see if I can't get the sass out of her." The Sergeant punched in the codes for the door and the doors slid open, revealing a relaxed lady whose figure deceived her skills in combat.
As the doors closed with a hush of hydraulics, Adrian turned the lights on brighter before sitting down on the opposite end of the sole table in the room. Waving his hand around the desk in front of him, a holographic monitor hummed to life with a beep. Shifting his hands around, Adrian pulled up documents on Sakura Kina, which included her military records, her criminal records, and any financial data she might have. The former two were extraordinarily long, but the latter was surprisingly short, having an abrupt end of activity a few years back.
"Ms. Kina..." Adrian chuckled as he stood up. "You have some reputation madam, some would call you a fine soldier, some would call you a traitor." He began to pace around the table as he spoke, his head always facing Sakura. She seemed to show no sign of fear, not that he had expected her to, yet she did not show any sign of annoyance either, which was unusual..

The man walked in a brightened up the room, to Sakura's displeasure. "Ms. Kina... You have some reputation madam, some would call you a fine soldier, some would call you a traitor." The man began to walk around with a sense of confidence and pride in his step. "I am honored to hear that someone of such high stature in the Alliance Navy has heard of me." Sakura spoke sarcastically. There was never anything good that came out of dealing with the Alliance for her.
As the officer made his way around the table again towards her, she noticed some familiar about his face, but she could not figure out why. Had she fought on a ship that he had been assigned to? No, he probably would not be standing here if that was the case. The man seemed old enough to have taken part in the war though, so it was still a possibility. "I assume I'm here because of my part in the war back in the day?" Sakura said as she leaned back nonchalantly. "I thought all Independent soldiers were pardoned of their 'war crimes'? Isn't that right, Commander..." Sakura saw the rank strips on the man's uniform, but she was perceptive, not a mind reader. She at least deserved to know who this man that was interrogating her was..

As Sakura asked Adrian of his name, he stopped and stood behind his seat, looking forwards at the browncoat. "Inaka. You have as good of an eye as they say." Adrian said as he spun the monitor in front of him around to show Sakura a picture of her at the Battle of Serenity Valley, pulling a fellow Independent soldier away from the line of fire. "I heard you took out the man who this picture just before disappearing behind cover. That is some impressive shot considering the distance you had to cover, and with an assault rifle at that Major Sakura Kina." Adrian grinned as he spun the monitor back again and read through her military files.
"Enlisting at such a young age... If this document is correct, that would mean that you are currently 30, is that right Major? But here on your financial records it states that your date of birth does not match that; in fact, you should be 32 right now. I am not trying to say you are lying," Adrian thought of how to word what he was going to say, but then decided he would just state it simply, "but you're lying."

Sakura grinned as she remembered the time when she was pulling Corporal Hanson out of the line of fire. She was just about behind cover when spotted the glistening of a lens. It was either a sniper, or an idiot recon who was doing a bad job at hiding and was ballsy enough to get so close to the front lines. Looking over she had spotted a recon soldier simply taking pictures of their encampment. Without hesitation, Sakura shot the soldier and proceeded to pull the Corporal back fully out of harm's way.
"He was not doing a great job at being stealthy, he deserved it." Sakura said as she watched the Commander spin the monitor back towards him. "Enlisting at such a young age... If this document is correct, that would mean that you are currently 30, is that right Major? But here on your financial records it states that your date of birth does not match that; in fact, you should be 32 right now. I am not trying to say you are lying... But you're lying." Sakura sarcastically chuckled at the Commander's humor and nodded. "You are indeed correct in your assumption Commander, I am 32. If you believed in something as much as I did, you most likely would have done the same." What she said suddenly piqued her interest as she leaned forwards, rest her arms on the table in front of her. "Tell me, Commander, why exactly am I here for interrogation if you know so much about me already?"

Sakura was as to-the-point as her report claimed her to be. Her incomplete psychological analysis though was a bit off. Had something changed with her since the report's last update? It wasn't surprising since the last update had been at the end of the war and was based off of very little information gathered from confiscated Independent intelligence. Sliding her report down to read more of it, Adrian sighed and looked up from the holographic monitor. "I will be perfectly honest with you. I have been given direct orders from high command to detain you and update your report on file." High command could have a fit if they knew that he had told her this, but they would never know. Sakura had no reason to reveal to them that Adrian had told her this. Adrian quickly updated Sakura's age on the report and then closed the file, having updated her assignment to the Trinity as a medic, then proceeded to close the file. Now all he had to do was assess her psychological health.
From the looks of her body and how she spoke, she seemed a bit uneasy, maybe even somewhat paranoid, though she did not easily reveal this through her body posture nor how she spoke. The only way Adrian had picked up on it had been because of his training on psychological evaluation in the academy, something that was required for all officers so that they could determine when a subordinate was unfit for duty. "So tell me Major Kina, what exactly do you do on the Trinity as a medic? Is it strictly medical duties or do you participate in the crew's... Legal ventures?" Adrian had spoken 'legal' in a very sarcastic tone. He wasn't sure if the Trinity ran only legal jobs, but his sarcasm might possibly lead to him figuring out such if she was not experienced in interrogations. He was simply testing the waters before he jumped into the deep waters of her mind.
