Hey. So I thought I’d make an offer, though this my sound dumb. But for anyone who wants it, I can draw up your ship’s plans. That’s right. I am totally willing to make up a ship just totally for you.
That said, I have to ask two things:
First, I am graphically challenged or at the very least cursed. My photo bucket account? It got scrapped the day after I loaded all my graphics onto it…And the flash drive I saved all said graphics to? It was stolen. Yep. And there are lots more tales of horror.
So what I can do is email you the whole thing on Word and you can copy and paste and make your own graphics. I’m sorry about the inconvenience, but for whatever reason, anytime I make graphics…Murphy’s Law comes into effect. I promise I will not abuse your email addy, it is purely for just sending you the work I did if you want.
Second. I need you to tell me about your ship. That’s right. A ship is like any other character or at least the extension of one. It has a name, it’s own quirks, strengths, even it’s own personality of sorts. But to be a little more specific, I need to know what I’m looking at here.
Is your ship a cargo carrier? How about moving settlers or taking on passengers? Fuel efficiency? If you’re a pirate, obviously you’re going to want something slightly different than an Alliance crusier. Likewise with salvagers.
But I also need to know weaknesses. Every ship has them. Obviously a ship with eight or more people is going to be larger unless you want your passengers to be smashed together like sardines. Or lose cargo space. Like wise, a larger ship means a slower ship and a less fuel efficient ship. Where a smaller means less cargo and people capacity. You also need to think about things like life support. Engines (on faster ships there are two main, besides thrusters, and the larges cruiser in the Alliance fleet is going to need about four…never mind A LOT of fuel). Likewise, newer ships mean less upkeep, which means less money.
If you need help, Serenity is about medium sized.
Let me know, I’m more than willing to help if you have some problems. Or if you have a question. My email is Harrowood_lady@yahoo.com. You can also PM me.
