Companion For Hire!

So miss Sofia Diaz-Castello has decided to take to the stars. You can click her name to find out why, or at least the hints as to why. She's neutral, and doesn't much care for either side, but I'd prefer someone who's more Browncoat. She's looking for a long time birth on a good ship.

Sofia and I would like to play out said relationship, with the captain, with the crew, and with said romantic other. Can be male or female, she's really not that picky. She might be a bit broken, but don't underestimate her. She'd be an asset to a good crew, and would be perfectly willing to do more than just companion work, if need be. She likes to earn her stay, not just assume it's hers.

On the romance, she's twitchy, and likly to run away more than once, but if your up for it, well go ahead. I am not really worried. So what do you guys think?

We can always use more romance in the 'verse. Maybe actually get a 'Couple of the Month' award going where we have a choice other than just Layla and Cadan.

One of the Admins could probably point you to a ship better than I could but here goes my late night evaluation of the ships.


The Esteem and Phoenix are both out since they are full-blown Alliance ships. Phoenix is kind of inactive and probably wouldn't take a companion anyway.

The Bjorn's Star leans a little to Alliance (as far as I can tell) and probably doesn't have any room anyway.

I really don't know much about the Sojourn but it is fairly slow there from what I can tell. I also think they already have a companion.

The Veasna started up strong and then seemed to die pretty quick. They neutral and gypsy oriented though if you are interested.

I believe there is an effort to get the Lenore going again. Like the Sojourn I don't know much about the ship or the crew.

The Trinity is a mix of Browncoats and Neutrals. The crew has opened up a bit but I don't know if it's actively recruiting or not since we picked up Tristram. The crewlist also has Georgia listed as the companion on-board but as far as I'm aware she was practically abducted to help the crew for one mission. I don't know if she's staying on or what and if not then there is room for a companion I suppose.

Hyperion is a fairly neutral and very diverse ship. I believe there should be room on-board for at least one more.


The tl;dr is that if you want a ship that is already active, might have room, and fits the Neutral-Alliance range then I'd suggest Trinity or Hyperion. As I said in my previous post, there are plenty of eligible bachelors out there... except for Cadan.

The Sojourn does have a companion already, Sian. However there are two shuttles so it doesn't hurt to ask if they would be willing to take another companion, considering Sian won't be doing any companion work. She's just there to be part of the crew and if need be use her companion status to benefit the ship.

As far as any other ship's with room and looking for a companion there's the Lenore -- Though I know a spot was offered to another companion character but I am unsure if it was accepted and such.

The Veasna has 4 more open shuttles, but has 2 companions already (1 active and 1 is inactive atm though)

The Iron Maiden is looking to take on a companion but I couldn't say how active that ship would be if you joined it -- you would probably want to message Roark on that inquiry.

You could always just pick a planet and play on-planet for the time being as well.

Well she did kind of run from her old life, so i assume she's on SOME other planet. Alright, thanks guys. I'll look around a bit more, and in the mean while play Sofia planet side. Thanks.
