Sibil wasn't sure what to do, she felt as though she should go talk to James. What about though, really? They'd had a one night fling months ago. Not to mention she was on the job this time. Despite her own inner disagreement she was going to talk to him. Ensign Secore luckily was on her way to Sibil with the Trinity's paperwork. Registration and such. Which luckily were a bit over-due for renewal. The ship was his, he was the owner, so it was of course James she would be going to talk to. Works perfectly.
The chief of security excused herself from the group, walking over toward James with the papers in-hand. "Mister Clark, if I may have a word with you please." Her voice was authoritative yet polite, it wasn't as much a question as a command. In a nice way though.
Once they were out of earshot and decent view of the others she turned to him, "You are the last person I expected to come across, much less in such horrid shape." There was a slight concern in her face as she looked at James.

James was beginning to lose patience with the Alliance's stop and search. It was taking a whole hell of a lot longer than this sort of thing should do. He was getting quite irritable that was and until Tucker came calling. Papers in hand. Obviously something's were a little overdue. Considering Clark hadn't been on the ship for periods at a time over the last year it wasn't really a surprise. Sid wasn't superman after all. "Certainly Lieutenant" James responded walking slowly outside with his cane. "That makes two of us my love, you still look as stunning as ever" James shot Tucker a flirtatious smile. He may at present be a bearded cripple but he was still a charming man. Looks could only get a man so far.

Sibil smiled slightly at James' comment in response to her own. "That's Lieutenant Commander, by the way Mister Clark." She hadn't bothered to correct him when he'd used the wrong rank, only the few he stood by would have heard him anyway. Her words were only a tease though, mostly. "Also thank you, though sadly I'm not sure if I can say the same." Saying as she looked over the state he was in.
"Still handsome of course, don't get me wrong." Sibil had ignored his 'my love' comment, she didn't use that word, hadn't said it to anyone in her life who wasn't family. Except Tyler. The one man she didn't see herself ever truly getting over. She pushed those feelings aside, not the time nor the place. "What in the world happened to you?"

James laughed as she corrected him as his rank. He had once been a man with a rank but that was seventeen years ago. The war was long over and James had come to accept that the Alliance had won it. Still didn't mean he was on the wrong side, just the losing one. "My apologises Lieutenant-Commander" he said with a wink.
Really? You like the bearded look?" he said with a grin stroking his bushy beard. James couldn't help but remember the last women to call him hansom, Haylie Ma Nakina. The love of his life from a different time. "Do you really want to know?" James asked hinting that the circumstances surrounding what happened to him were not exactly legal.

Sibil smiled at his amusement of her correcting him, shaking her head slightly. Shrugging a little, "It's alright on you, you're just hiding away your good looks a bit this way don't you think?"
With the way James asked if she really wanted to know, she knew she shouldn't. It meant that it had been illegal activities, even if only partially. Sibil was not in a capacity where she could listen and not act upon it, she was an officer and on the job. "I am curious yes, however perhaps it's best that you don't tell me. I am on duty this time after all, another time maybe?" She grinned at him.
She had to remain professional here, mostly. As much as the curiosity ate at her, it had to be ignored. It was a little difficult considering the first time they had met was very much the opposite of the situation now. "So this is your Trinity huh, she's nice. Just like I thought. Except I should be giving you a citation on her papers, task task Captain Clark." Her voice was only teasing, Sibil had no intention of actually citing him on them.
