Before we both went into the more intense part of our training (aka, before we all graduated to rooms of our own and instead had to share rooms), we lived together. I have many fond memories with you, and I still find it a shame that you didn't follow through with your training. I think you would have been a wonderful Companion. I haven't seen you in awhile, perhaps years, so of course I didn't recognize you at first when I glanced over you on Atlas. For sure, I had not expected you to be there! It's great to see a familiar face among heathens.

Auj says: Ursula and I met while attending the Companion Guild. Before long, we were close friends and shared several inside jokes that the other girls frowned out - probably out of jealousy. The younger blonde was like the younger sister that I always dreamed of, but sometimes she acted older than me. When I almost ran into her [literally] on the Atlas, I was surprised, to say the least. Urs had taken quickly to Companionship, and it was certainly surprising to see her on the ship, so out of her comfort zone. But hopefully we can change that so I can spend more time with my only real friend.

Hermes says: They have yet to meet, but I am imagining their first meeting to go something like this:
"Patience is really not a patient woman and her posses of mounted men are hardly better. I had been riding for days, or rather night, over the past few weeks trying to avoid her, but they have been hot on my tail. The, one day, as I had been riding along, minding my own business, I saw several ships land and I approached them on horseback, keeping under the cover of the taller brush. Nothing much happened for a minutes and I became curious enough to ride up upon a hill, in order to see what was going on and I could hardly believe my eyes, which showed me Patience and her guards below and they were conversing with the crews of two ships. Nothing else happened for awhile, that is, until gunshots range out.
Unable to stay where I was, or indeed to even think better of what I was about to do, I rode down the hill and jumped into the fray, still on my horse and eager to vent some of my frustration on the posse that had made my life a living hell for the past few weeks, Moments, or perhaps hours later, I saw her face in all of the confusion and it was clear, despite all of the rising dust around it. I cannot say that I was not entranced by her beauty at first glimpse...it was like a scene from a movie and after the skirmish, I concentrated my energies on finding her.

Auj says: When the ships set down on Whitefall, I hadn't expected anything to happen. Sure, I knew that Patience was coniving and untrustworthy, but I didn't realize that there would be a true fight. The gun shots had startled me and had me running out of the ship to see what was happening, as well as to help whomever might get hurt. Dust was rising from the ground as boots and hooves stamped it, but it didn't prevent me from seeing a man who was unfamiliar but seemingly on our side. For the moment, I pushed it out of my mind, but after we'd left Whitefall he was constantly on my mind. What had happened to him? Where was he? A brief fling with Jude pushed all thoughts of the man from my mind, but after.... After, I wanted to know what had happened to the mystery man. As luck would have it, he showed up on the ship, and everything went from there.

Auj says: Being on the same ship, it was natural to assume that Jude and I would get to know each other. But for the most part we were just friendly to one another. After the gun-fight on Whitefall, Jude was injured and assigned to my care. Through the days I treated him and spent most of my time with him to be sure he would make it through, we got to know each other and we shared a brief fling. However, the fling ended soon after and it doesn't look like anything more will come from it. We're still friends, and I think we're both happy that we can be friends.
