Lenard looked up at his clock, yes, it was almost that time again, after all, it had been almost a year and he was feeling the itch to be near a woman once more, and given his last date....
He looked down at the female corpse before him, looking over her body he smiled softly to himself, 'Well, at least she won't be going anywhere anytime soon.' His smile faded as the thought crossed his mind once more, the ball was coming up, and he was expected to attend. He would have to call his favorite companion and see if she was free. At least she never questioned his abilities.
Lenard always loved women, always wanted to be near them, pamper them, and take care of them. He, like unlike the small group of men he knew, had a temper problem when a woman refused his advances, or when they questioned his abilities. He would finish with her later, for now, he would send out a wave and see if he could get his enchantress on the line. However, first, Lenard showered.
Dressed in his best suit, he sat before the screen, put his hair right, then looked through his contacts until he was able to find her number. He waited, heart in his throat, for the one woman he wanted, but knew he could never have, long term.

[/b] she hummed to herself, somewhat surprised. She had not expected to have received a call so soon. In fact, she had not even been aware she could receive a wave at all just yet. But there it was. So her tech abilities weren't complete and utter crap after all. She paused before a mirror, checking that her hair was in place on the way to her screen, settling herself down in her chair before reaching out to answer. A bit of surprise lit her face for a fraction of a second before a warm smile graced her features, as was her norm. But this smile seemed more genuine, more bright than most of her others. It seemed this was a face she was most pleased to see. "Lenard", she breathed, repositioning herself slightly, in a more attentive way. She made every effort to show him that she was excited to see him whenever they spoke, without looking like a giddy school girl. "What a pleasant surprise. We have not spoken for too long. How have you been?" Everything that came from her mouth was full of respect and warmth. Not quite love, but perhaps a hint of adoration. No, Chahana wasn't completely unaware that this man had a darker side to him. She had caught a glimpse of it from time to time when in his presence, though never directed at her. But that was just the point. He was a complete gentleman to her and had been since she first met him. In fact, this man had been her second client, and had restored her faith in her profession and in herself. He was important to her in his own way. And so long as he remained a gentleman to her, he would continue to be one of her most valuable and welcomed guests. She took in his appearance and her cheeks flushed lightly in pleasure. He had dressed up for her! She could tell. The man always dressed well, as far as she could remember, but it became obvious when he put in a little extra effort. It was sweet of him, and reminded her that this was most likely a sign that he would be needing her services. And most likely sometime soon. Well, business later. With Lenard, it would always be pleasantries first, as far as Chahana was concerned.[/ul]

"Ahh there's the beautiful woman I remember." His hand gently touched his screen as a smile crossed his lips. She was his favroite. After meeting her he refused to contract with other Companions. They all had talents, they were all beautiful, but there was something else about this woman. Something special that made a part of him mealt every time he spoke to her, and in those moments, he had to remind himself, she would never stay with him long term. The woman he always wanted but could never have. Than again, perhaps that was for the best. Considering how things went with his wives.
"Our comunications have been sparce lately, I take full responcibility my dear, and I am eternality sorry." Over the years of knowing her, he sent her a gift every anniversary of their first night together. Though many would not take the time, he made sure each gift would mean something, something that reminded him of her beauty, personality, just something that he thought would mean something to her. Though he hadn't sent the newest gift, as of yet. He was hoping to hand deliver it this year, if she was willing to attend his ball.
"I heard my Princess was on a ship these days, traveling the stars."

"My darling, if you needed a ship all you had to do was ask." His smiled became slightly grander, he would buy her anything she wished. He had the resorces to do so, but more than that, he just liked seeing her smile. Over the years, and the death of his wives, he found her company more and more to his liking. You could stay, he bonded to her in a way he never had before. He actually enjoyed her company, her thoughts, she always seemed to enjoy him. While that was part of her job, he assumed that not everythign they shared was just her working. There was something else there.
"My dear, I was hoping I could convince you to come to a little get together on my side of the verse." He kept his smile and his hand removed from the screen. He wanted her with him, but for how long? A day, two? No, he needed her longer than that. "I will gladly pay your crew for brining you here. I was hoping to have you for three or four days, if that is to your liking." Perhaps if her crew was free, he had other missions they could carry out.

Lenard smiled at her, his heart in his throat so to speak. He wanted to hear yes more than anything else, and though he knew her comming depended upon a captain that may or may not wish to travel this far. Though he would trust her judgement. If she felt this Captain would be understanding, and reasonable, well, then he had no room to argue with her. She knew her people better than he did, for now.
His contacts were slow on telling him which ship she was located on, however, now he would beable to look up information on all of those with her. He could only hope, for her sake, they were everything she deserved in a crew.
"I trust your judgement my dearest. If she is as you state, I might need some assistance with a job I am currently attempting to handle. Some of my men have.." he searched for the right words. "Quit lately, found a better line of employment." He touched her hand, well the image of her hand. He gazed into her eyes, his feelings for her showing through.
"Please, princess, wave me when you hear from your Captain." He smiled, and he would indeed wait, right where he was, reading up on her crew and seeing what he could learn.
