(people involved in this thread are Sakura, Art, Cadan, Dani, Meilin, Tari and Layla Pt1 will be ther other crew memebers)
(setting the Scene: This scene is tking place just shortly after the other scene the memebers who were involved in part one left just a few minutes before. The hatch between the two ships is open. The crew here is waiting for any trouble. If trouble states they are to take action and secure the stairs half way up the Maidne's Mercy so they the security can't get down and block the other team of. The scene starts with shots being head from the other group. Feel free to deal with as many guards as you like as there are plenty to be roming the ship)The three security members of the Maidne's mercy were still standing around just outside the Trinity. Everything was going as planned and for the most part they were relaxed in their job. Nothing to worry about. Everything changed in an instant of course when gun shots were heard from down the way. The first guard raised his gun. "Whats going on. Close the haatch." Heyelled to one of the other guards. The other two raised their weapons to point at the crew of the Trinity they had no reason to belive it was directly related to them but it wa policy to close everything down in a situation like this. One of the men ran for the hatch control as the Trinity crew reacted. If the hatch ended up shut the crew on there would have no way to assist the others.

Cadan had been standing around on the catwalk waiting for something to happen. It was bound to happen by the plan and the anticipation had been killing him. finally something happened a shot rang out, exactly what they all had expected.
Cadan knelt down when he heared the shot and saw the man running for the hatch control. He grabbed the shot gun that was sitting on the floor next to him. He had set it down before they opened the hatch between the two ships so it wouldn't be noticed. With a quick pull of the trigger, a pump of the gun and a second pull he dropped the man who was trying to close them of.
He ran to the stairs and began to make his way down the steps as the otehrs began to react to the situation. They needed to get to the stairs on the Maiden's Mercy like James and Sidney had told them.

Layla hoped she had enough clips for this, four for each of her guns was all she had left. Guess it was time to do a bit of shopping after this. She was still angry with Cadan, it showed a bit.
Guns were ready and in the hands of the young woman, as Cadan took point and made the first move. She'd been standing by some cargo crates to conceal her firearms. Once her romeo was off she quickly followed, there was a plan to keep to here.
There was another guard coming around the corner, he didn't make it long before Layla disposed of him with a couple well placed bullets. She was keeping up with Cadan, sticking close and keeping an eye on their backs as the others made their way as well.

Meilin was a mess of nerves and was trying very hard not to show it as she waited in the cargo bay. The only reason her hands weren't shaking was because she held the rifle so tightly. When the shooting started, she froze, standing there with wide eyes until Cadan and Layla rushed past her. Then her brain started working again. She followed them, rifle raised and ready to fire if she really had to. Another guard came around the corner with his gun raised. He aimed right at her, even made eye contact. Meilin wasn't even aware that she had pulled the trigger until the bullet tore into his shoulder. He screamed in pain, dropping his gun and she suddenly felt the need to apologize. It was stupid, she should pull the trigger again and finish him before he recovered and shot her but she just couldn't do it. ______________________________________________________________ Clothing

A window of opportunity. It was open, and yet gradually beginning to close. The back-up team were supposed to keep the way clear for the others to actually complete the task of getting Kalli out. The most important part of the mission-- if it were to fail, it would make things a little null and void, yes? With the situation well and truly noted, Art had been more than ready when things sprang into action. Cadan had dispatched the first guard, stopping him from shutting off the hatch, and then surprisingly James' little sister-- one of, the man had so many Art was sure he'd be dead several times over if he ever met them all at once-- easily took up arms against the second. Must run in the family.
The more surprising was how the resident cook had taken to shooting the third. Art himself had been waiting patiently. Biding his time like he always seemed to do in most dangerous situations. The man wasn't finished, though, and that was a problem. As he gritted his teeth and bent to retrieve his gun, noticing the girl had frozen long enough, the guard found himself with the upperhand once again. There, he aimed, a little unsteadily with one arm dangling from the shoulder wound. A barely audible little p-tew sounded. Was it from his gun? The guard's expression was one of confusion; blood was seeping through his clothes. The frown lessened as he dropped down to the floor.
A gloved hand rested on Meilin's shoulder to shake her from her reverie, Art giving her nary a glance before he was moving after Cadan and Layla. No words had left the dark-clothed man, his shoes silent on the floor as he moved. Certain that Sakura would be the one to provide any cover fire from the rear, he left Meilin to decide if she wanted to follow behind him and stick close, or head back into the Trinity. He had to admire her courage, though. And her good shot. Disarm was just as good as a killing blow in most aspects.
Usually made them easier to kill anyway.
Whatever cover there was to find, Art would find it, and make sure to cover their bases should someone try to get the drop on them.

Cadan raced down the hall as the others followed. His shotgun pointed forward ready for any target that may come. He watched as the others dropped one after another of the gurads. when the hall opened up he saw a crowed of people rushing wayway from the direction where the others would have been.
He tried to look through the crowd to see if there were any guards but there were so many he couldn't make out anyone for sure. What he didn't notice is from the stairs coming down from the floor about there were several guards coming. They began to fire in his direction as the others began to arrive and find cover. Cadan stood there for a second cocking the shotgun and began to shot up at them. He tagged one of them dropping him down the stairs.
He was doing good, they were pulling it off. if they could hold the line for a little longer it would hopefully mean the others would be there soon. He hadn't thought to find cover though, he wasn't any good at this kind of thing and if he stood there to long one of them would manage to hit him.

Meilin wasn't sure what had happened next. She knew that she hadn't fired again, and the guard looked just as confused when blood started seeping through the front of his shirt. He fell to the ground again, dead this time. Meilin still stood there confused until she felt a hand on her shoulder. Everything snapped back into place and she looked at the owner of the gloved hand. Art.
Before she could mutter a thank you or anything of the sort, he was already moving. Meilin followed closely. Keep it together. Keep moving. Don't get yourself killed like a ruttin' fool. When she reached the stairs she took a knee, aiming at the next guard coming down the stairs. Everything she had ever heard about aiming and shooting was a confused jumble. Why hadn't she tried to pick up this skill before?
Meilin fired, missing the next guard entirely. "Gorram it." She cursed quietly to herself. Then she had to move because the guard she had missed was returning the more accurate fire of his own. Meilin ducked towards the corner as the bullets hit the wall above her. This time without over thinking she stood, aimed, and fired. This time she was slightly luckier. The bullet hit his knee instead of his chest but he tumbled down the stairs, breaking his neck at the bottom.

Sidney and the others rounded the corner to the room with the stairs. Kalli had lead out but had fallen back around the corner when someone started to shoot in their direction. Sidney stepped around the corner and began to walk toward the stairs his revolver pointed up at the stairs. He took a sht sending one of the guards to the floor when the round hit him.
As he approched the stairs he took aim at another guard who had made it to the floor they were on from below. He sent two rounds at him dropping him to the ground as well then began to reload, still not taking cover.
Before Sidney could finish reloading another man was standing not far from drawing his aim on Sidney. Before he could get is pistol aimed at Sidney he charged the man drawing a knife from his waist, then thrust it in to his chest. Across the room Sidney could see the others trying to hold the guards off on the stairs as well. The crew had to be quick, they were running out of time till the full security teams were here.

"Go now!" Roger yelled as he popped out from cover. He fired both pistols rapidly providing suppressive fire for the companions so they could quickly make it to the second team and from there on toward Trinity. It wasn't much help to get himself across, protect Sidney or James, or even to actually hit any enemies but getting the noncombatants out of the way was the chief concern at this point. The others could take care of themselves.
Roger quickly reloaded and moved to cover the rear with James which was coming under increasing threat now that they had halted by the stairs. The gunhand returned fire and dropped those few guards bold enough to attempt to rush them. All the while he kept an eye and an ear open for Sidney's call for them move up at a moment's notice.

The confusion of the crowd had been a fairly good thing for however long it had lasted. The panic of them moving created a little chaos as the bullets started to fly again. Art was a little impressed by how this second team were handling things-- considering they didn't appear to be the types that did this sort of thing often. Not like Sid, Roger, James, Sakura and himself. Then again, even Art hadn't gotten into the thick of things like this in a long while. So he did what came natural. All he had to do was find various little niches. He had a knack for moving when they couldn't see. Making sure he wasn't spotted until it was too late for them. At first he was in the crowd-- and while it had been hard to tell if any were guards, Art had been close enough. He appeared to be winding up his watch, and came upon the man trying to deal with the crowd quickly. A wire was pulled forth from the old timepiece; it was around his neck within seconds. A body was seen to drop amongst the crowd-- he hadn't struggled much. The moving cover had thinned out, and Art was now in a niche by the stairs.
More were coming, but in the distance? He heard more gunfire. Had to be the others. This was good. They'd be out in no time if they made it to them soon. Just needed to hold them off a little longer... Make a little room.
There was no longer the silenced rounds. There was no point, really. Art had switched for a more heavier calibre revolver, and already popped from his cover. The loud shots rang out as he just calmly walked towards one of the guards, sending him to the ground. The knee of another had a bullet tear through, sending him stumbling down the stairs. As he strambled to get up, he'd lift his head to find Art's pistol already there. Blam. The mechanic peered around smoothly, making sure they were still all in one piece.

The first group was coming back, she could hear them. Sidney was the first one she saw at the top of the stairs, tackling a man with a knife. The others were back and alive. Would it be too early to say things were going well? Possibly.
Meilin kept pressing forward until she was at the foot of the stairs. There was more of a crowd now, scared civilians that she was being very careful not to shoot. A guard came up out of nowhere, grabbing the barrel of the rifle and delivering a solid punch to her gut. He apparently wasn't fond of the idea of firing into a crowd.
She held on to the rifle as tightly as she could, but it wasn't difficult for him to rip it out of her hands. The butt of the rifle smashed into the side of her face as he pulled it away, making her stagger. He caught a bullet a moment later, right through the center of the chest. Meilin wasn't sure if it was meant for him or just a stray bullet but she wasted no time though in diving to the floor to retrieve the rifle.
They were almost done, almost ready to retreat safely. Just had to manage a bit longer.

As the other team appeared at the other end of the room everyone began to consintrate on clearing a path for them to make it their direction. Art was out in the crowd not far from the stairs and Sidney had started to punch through from the other side. Roger had begun laying down supresive fire. It was time Cadan did his part as well.
He looked to Layla, his face showing a bit of fear. Then he charged out in to the crowd letting rounds from the shotgun fly in the direction of any of the guards he could see. He made his way over to the stiars trying to add additional supresive fire so they could cross the room to the Trinity.

James watched as Sid done his classic knife move. It was just like old times. They were back with the other team but there was still a dozen or so guards separating him from the rest of his crew. James followed down the stairs after Sid and watched Cadan come out laying down some suppressive fire. He was half tempted to kill the kid for betraying the crew and more to the point dating his sister. But James mind was made up a guard appeared near Cadan about to take a shot "Cadan hit the floor" he screamed out without waiting he fired in Cadans direction aiming at the guard about to take him out. Hopefully Cadan could get out of the way in time.

Sidney help his position out in the open. He pulled a second pisol out after finishing reloading his revolver and began to lay down fire at the remaining guards. Tey had managed to gain the upper hand for now. "Move, get to the Trinity now!" Sidney exclaimed.
It didn't take long till the others began to move. Georgia was standing with Sidney still trying to keep from getting lost. Sidney pointed to Art and the others. "Go, get to them and they will get you back out." He told her. As Sidney began to slowly move toward Art he noticed from the stairs a group of guards heading their way. He noticed at least seven more and there were sure to be more behind them. If they were not quick they would be over run. Sidney started laying down fire toward those seven to try and slow thier advance.

It wasn't long before the others had pressed forward and begun to leapfrog back to the Trinity. At Sidney's call, Roger followed suit moving from the rear guard and catching up with the others at the stairs. He slid in behind cover to once again held the line as the others made the mad dash to the Trinity. Once the non-combat types were safely out of harm's way then Roger and the others could withdraw as well.
Though they had consolidated their position together as one group with a fairly secure path back to the ship, things were as dangerous as ever as the number of enemy guards and their level of organization had increased. Roger focused on the approaching groups of guards rather than those already safely behind cover. The fight was too intense to try and pick off any one guard. Best to try for easy hits instead.
