[Lars Engström]

Lars sat at his desk, and looked over the job postings. Seeing one that caught his eye, he opened a wave to one Calvin Richards.

Open Transmission:
From: Lars Engstrom Captain of Bjorn's Star
To: Calvin Richards
This is concerning a Job posting about retrieving some Unification War Relics.

Lars sat back, and waited for someone to answer his wave.

Calvin had been really busy lately, with getting the Maiden's Mercy back in overder after it had been attacked by a group of Independent's. He hadn't been on the ship when that happened, his second in command was running the ship while he was on a vaction of sorts. It was a good thing too, the raid lea to an investigation of the Maiden's Mercy and it's connections to slave trading.

Calvin of course was exonerated of any wrong doing but his second in command and many others were convicted in connection to the issue. Calvin had returned and been getting things in order. He also had some personal things to deal with. He had put out a message on the cortex for a few things he wanted.

Lucky for him it was quickly responded to. Calvin was sitting at his desk when a wave come through from a Lars Engstorm. Calvin was quick to answer. Witht he click of a botton the screenpopped to life. "Lar Enstorm, correct? How can I help you? He said with a smile on his face. "Is this in connection with my request for assistance?"

"Yes," Said Lars, "I saw on the cortex that you were looking for someone to transport some Unification War items? My ship is headin' in that direction, and I thought I might take you up on the offer." Lars was surprised by the man he was speaking too. He looked nothing like a collector, although he seemed to have the eccentricity factor. Lars was not going to let his impressions get in the way however. The ad had mentioned a large sum of money, and he didn't want to lose this job. "Just tell me what to do, and I'll get it done." Lars added, hoping to impress this Mr. Richards.

A smile crossed Calvins face as the man admitted he had waved him in responce to his message. He looked at the far wall to his office. It was coverd in war artifacts. He had quiet the collection and he never could bring himself to stop collecting things.

"ah, yes yes, of course. I need someone to gather some old war relics for me. You see there is a man who has his hands on some things I want. I have tried talking to him about it but he seems to have taken a dislike toward me. I will pay hansomely for the items to be retrieved but he won't seel them if he thinks you work form me." Calvin stood up and walked over to a shelf pulling a ship placard off it and walking back to the screen.

"it is simple really they will look just like this, there are four of them and I will not settle for anything less then all of them." Calvin was very excited about the idea of getting his hands on all the items.

"Well," Said Lars, as he glanced over the object Richards was holding, making a note of it's appearance. "I'll do what it takes to get them for you." He felt that he should remain optomistic, and not express the doubts that were beginning to creep into his mind, with the mention of a biased seller. "Is there anything else I should know? Passwords or the like?"
Lars was not in the mood for getting into a brawl because he didn't know the right greeting or some such. "Oh, and come to think of it, where should I deliver them once I have them?" He decided to come across with total confidence, not allowing any doubt to penetrate his voice. "And if something should go wrong, how should I contact you?"

Calvin was almost gitty at the though of getting the items and the fact that he had someone willing to go get them for him. 'I'll send all the information you need about the budget for it over to you right way. Anything you don't spend on getting them you will be able to keep 50% of. The mans name is Nate Thomas and you will be able to find him on Santo. He isn't to interested in selling so you may need to work with him a bit on getting him willing to sell."

Calvin smiled at Lars this was his ticket to the next peice of his collection. "Feel free to taontact me at any point in the future about it if you have any further questions of course. I am almost always here on the maiden's Mercy so that will also be your drop off location."

"Well, thank you for taking the time to explain everything." Said Lars, sensing the end of the conversation. "I will most certainly let you know if anything goes amiss." Lars was about to end the transmission, when he remembered something, "Don't worry Mr. Richards, I'll get what you need." Lars decided that it would be good to show confidence, and he made sure to speak his words with force. "I'll let you know if anything comes up."
Lars ended the transmission, and sat back. Well, he thought, we have a job.
