Friedrich stood his ground as events unfolded but did nothing else, as per his orders from Jadyn. Even when Fire turned to silence the doctor's peacekeeping attempt, the mechanics best chance to get a jump on the man (as bad as those odds were they weren't getting any better), he still remained firmly planted. He'd faced worse odds in the war and done so unarmed too. If the shooting started then he'd be ready to jump the man despite the incredible danger to himself from enemy and even friendly fire in the close quarters standoff.
Luckily things did not come to that. The captain's words and actions, as well as the mutually assured destruction of a two-on-one advantage in her favor, managed to diffuse the situation if only temporarily. The issue still remained and Fire could possibly act on his aggression some other time when there weren't a half dozen others to fight for the captain. Friedrich would have to make a note of staying armed just in case things came to a boiling point again.
The cook tried to change the subject off of killing each other but the mechanic would not be play along with the charade as if nothing had happened. They all damn near died and he was more in the mood for some contemplative quiet than forced small talk even if it was well intentioned. A little slower than normal Friedrich took his seat, a lot less interested in eating than he had been a few minutes ago.

Garret listened and watched all the players the mech, the doc, cookie, but mostly the Cap. She seemed capable even getting the drop when Fire pointed the gun in his and the doc's direction. Thomas could see the convition in her eyes. From what he could guess Fire knew it too. So when ordered he remved his hand from his gun and laid it in his lap. The way things ended he was very happy about not every thing had to end in tears. - Garret leaned foward and inhaled his food in a few bites. Standing he wipped his mouth on his sleave. ... 'Fire...everyone has grudges, none more so than me. Mine is on both sides tho. The Aliance and the Brown coats took my reasons for life, my wife and my three children. Not to mention the night strikes upon my relatives and kin. As to this date I'm the last Garret, no cousins, aunts uncles, nor their children. .... Not everything is revenge or settling scores. It's how you deal with the pain. For good or bad. My work is what is keeping me grounded without it..... I'm not sure what would happen. Maybe I'll be swept away in the madness, just not sure until it happens. Until then focus upon the steps in front of you.' .... Turning to Hoffman.....'As for this list no to worry I'm not overly fond of falling from the sky. So they will be the best even if I have to pay for them.' .... Thomas winked. Turning to everyone else he nodded and left the room. Making the corner he noticed his hand shaking, which reminded him of his gun. Removing it from the holster his eyes went wide at seeing as he saw the led light on his clip. The light meant his clip was empty. So in a bit of sickning feeling he bluffed a gun battle with an empty clip. Shakin' his head he moved on down the hall. He had to make this scavange run count for from what he could remember is that he had two bullets left and they weren't the right ones.

Dexter remained silent, as the events of the evening unfolded. He listened as each one said their piece, but before anything else happened, the captain made an interesting and bold choice. He tensed slightly as she spoke about the alliance, knowing that the already charged atmosphere would certainly become, if possible, even more tense. If it didn't explode completely. The second proved to be more accurate.
As the other man seemed to lose control, Shield adjusted only slightly. Preparing to take action if needed, but still remaining in his seat and silent. He watched closely as the guns were drawn, and he listened even closer as the words were exchanged. When the situation seemed to defuse itself, he brethed a short, and al but silent sigh of relief. He remained silent. He know had a much better hold on how the crew was shaking out. He made a note to at some point talk to the man, he thought he had heard someone call him Fire, as well as keep an eye on the doctor. He didn't know what to think.
He said a silent prayer of thanks, and then decided to add a word or two on the situation. "If everyone promises not to shoot me," He said carefully, but with a playful air and a glitter in his eyes, "And we are still clearing the air," He paused. "I am a shepherd." He said, matter of factly, and with a smile, because he knew everyone else would already know that. This was more a distraction from the recent conflict than anything else.
