Say that to my Face! (Achilles)

Elyse wasn't quite the drunkest person in the bar, but she was probably the loudest. Some arrogant drunkard had offhandly said something about how women were terrible pilots and he had found a very angry Ely screaming at him across the bar.

"You heard me, bitch." He drawled, "Ain't a woman in the verse who kin' fly for-" His words were cut off by a loud thunk, and the terrified look in his eye when he turned to see the knife that had nearly taken his ear off lodged in the wall.

The skinny woman closed the distance between them, snarling like a feral cat "You wanna run that by me again, pretty boy?!" The much taller man looked down at her, drunk enough to not worry about a scrawny little girl bristling with knives... He opened his mouth again, but before he could make a sound Ely's fist slammed into his jaw.

The man reeled, and Ely followed up with a booted foot upside his head. The quick assault left the man passed out cold on the floor, and Elyse retrieved her knife out of the wall. She whirled around to face the rest of the bar, knowing full well how one fight could escalate into a full out brawl.

She bristled like an alley cat; "Anyone else?"

<three hours before the meeting with the thugs>

"What If I have a problem?"

Achilles spoke in a sarcastic manner.

Once the woman turned to see the man at her 7 o'clock, she would see a massive mountain of a man dress in all black dress clothing with a little bit of tactical items strapped on as well. Not just dress clothes but insanely expensive dress clothes.

This man would also be wearing designer black mirrored sunglasses, a few side armor several knives and an assault rifle. On top of his head sat a standard spec ops "High & Tight" hair cut.

No one ever said that Ely had any sense, so when she turned to see the massive man staring her down she held her ground. Her knife-wielding hand dropped low, but she kept her first clenched around it's wooden handle, and made no other sign of backing off. If it weren't for the sarcasm in his voice, Ely wouldn't have even done that.

"Depends on what exactly that problem is." She said with a smirk, her blue eyes hungrily recognizing the high dollar clothing. "If it's a problem that pays well, well...I might not have any issue with that." In a subtle flick, the knife was back in it's sheath. Elyse wore a grin ear to ear, the mercenary knew a little better than to openly threaten people with money.

He looked fully capable of using the weapons he wore, but that didn't seem to trouble her in the slightest. Inwardly, she was cautious - outwardly she glared right back at her reflection in his sunglasses. "You almost look like you were expectin' a fight."
