No-Alliance gunhand isn't exactly the greatest career path for openings that I know of right now.
If the Rayya or the Lenore get going (currently it is being talked about and if we're lucky it might take a few weeks for them to be active) then there would most likely be room for someone like Victoria there. That's a bit of time to wait and it might turn out to be an eternal wait for something that's never coming (in my opinion a bad bet for someone's first character).
The Bjorn Star is neutral leaning Alliance (the captain in particular) so it might not be the best fit for the character. Even if it were, the small Bjorn doesn't really have room for another gunslinger when it has one-man army Jeff Weston. I'd look into it though if I were you to see if the fit with the crew and ship would be good then ask Lars if there might be room.
The Trinity was Neutral leaning strongly Independent but now is very neutral even with a former Browncoat captain. If your character is too anti-Alliance to tolerate limited cordial interaction and maybe even the occasional bit of work from the Alliance then it might be too neutral for you. The other issue is that the Trinity is really full of gunhands. I'm always happy to take on more though to turn the ship into a real fighting force and less of a delivery service.

I cant speak for priya directly but the athena will be coming back soon, and im pretty sure she would take you on the crew. the athena is non alliance as of this point unless some seriouse changes happen in the very near future.

She could deal with a little bit of alliance, though she wouldn't exactly be happy about it. She would typically keep to herself anyway while on the ship, and only really interact if spoken to. So either way would be great.
I don't mind working around some of her character flaws and perks, that, to me, is part of what roleplaying is all about. I'm open to just about anything here.
It's all about fun. I'm a male and created a female character for the sole purpose of the fun of being different.
