Sadly I don't think there are too many openings for pilots.

The Larisa's Glory has a pilot but Achilles, the captain is MIA so who knows what's happening there.

The Bjorn Star is full up on crew including a pilot. BUT! Lars is talking about moving Trace to a different ship (or dying in the current crisis? ) so that would free up the pilot slot. Assuming that Trace moving was a certainty and was going to happen shortly then I would advise that to be the best choice since I believe it is currently the most active ship.

The Rayya is limping a bit since the first mate suddenly had to retire from the site and the captain is currently busy IRL (but will shortly return!). The Rayya does have a pilot but I suppose they could use a co-pilot for the relatively large ship. Although you say you're willing to take such a position I don't know how well the character would react to that since she's not the type to settle for something less than her desire to fly free.

The Raven has unfortunately crashed in activity with its captain also MIA (but for known reasons). The Raven recruited a pilot but I don't believe it has gotten any further than that so it's a possibility if Sofia/Jadyn/Flame returns.


The only really open pilot spots that I see are for the two ships that I don't run. We've talked about getting the Trinity started again but so far that's just me and Tristram right now. Currently we're working to explain why so much of the crew suddenly left the ship in a back dated thread. Roger (me) is currently a passenger on another ship and would need to work his way back to Trinity. (Possibly picking you up along the way? Don't know how you recruit a pilot without having a ship. Could be pretty funny actually.) Still that leaves us with two gunhands and one pilot, hardly a crew. Also Tristram's character is pretty intent on staying to wait for the "lost" crew.

The other choice is my ship Truxtum. Again that's understaffed and not really running because it's just me and Kyla (with a full complement of NPCs). It's also an Alliance ship so I don't know how that would fly with your character. It isn't "by the book" though so that might help you out. It's also a fairly large ship with an entire bridge crew not just one pilot in control. Also since it's an Alliance ship, its crew is military or if needed citizens in good standing that have been specially contracted. I don't know if Ms. Carter would fit that either.

The Gorram ship is on fire and falling apart. All I'm saying is that this is the best opportunity you're ever going to get. You could of course have him simply leave the ship once we make port again because of previous issues with the Jordan thing, his injury on Persephone, and trauma from the current plot or something. IDK

You're the one who said you wanted him moved. If you don't want him out of the picture then forget about it.

Well if we have our sights set on the Trinity (and we're also getting the other Carter as a mechanic) then I'd need to get on that as de facto captain.

The only issue is that my main (Roger) is on another ship currently in the RP timeline and we'd need to skip forward a bit with our dating. I don't think that's going to matter to any of you since you've got nothing else going on but just an FYI. I'll then RP with Trinity "in the future" while in site time I will be RPing my way off of the Rayya ship.
