May 2nd, 2523 Evening Townton Downs
The screaming had ended for quiet awhile. Most of those who survived the first encounter with the mad Boid made sure to know exactly where he was and warned others. The female he had chased after wasn't so luck he had ran her down. At the peak of her screaming attack by Boid she passed out. Like a mawling he raised back some thing had snapped at the silence of the girl. Stepping back he looked down at her snorting he grabbed her by her left leg and proceeded to drag her away.
Now Corran in his madness was looking for shelter to hold up in. Finding a smallish town he walked down the main street dragging the poor woman. His nose searching the air for the smell of food. Three blocks into the town he smelt wood burning and headed for it. In a homely house was two men hunkered over a fire cooking a bit of food they found. They had also found a small cash of weapons, hand guns and combat knives. Boid moved slowly and as silently as he could until what he was dragging stopped his forward porgression. Looking back with fury he saw that her hair had tangled upon a bit of dead brush. Growling at her he moved over her to berate the situation. The sound of one of the men startled Boid turning he left her to hide behind a set of box crates.
The men came out to search for the sound only to find the girl still passed out. They checked her for a pulse. At this time their mind went south and they started to free her. Corran on the other hand only saw that they were trying to take his prise away from him. His anger rose to rage. Looking around he saw a piece of flat steel that was three feet long by three inches on one side tapering to a inch and a half. Wrapping his fingers around the metal he quietly stalked the men. Getting behind them he was able to get within five feet before one of the men turned. A yell tried to come from his throat when Corran silenced him by swipping the metal at his neck. With a second swing he broke the sother man's left leg at the knee then striking him on the right side of his neck.
Looking down at them as the rage lessened he searched them finding the guns they had palmed. He then stood up and moved over to the girl raising the metal he swung again this time it was not towards death but cutting the girl free from the dead brush. Taking her again by the left leg he drag her once again this time into the house. Goind near to the fire he sniffed the soup that was nearly boiling. Grabbing the hot pot with his left hand he removed the pot. The heat of the pot sizzled the synth flesh of his false hand. Using his right hand he grabbed a large laddle and slowly began to eat.
Boid's anger was fading and so was some of his madness but still it held on as he ate. The madness was an odd thing to predict some times it was hours others days still some thing of the outside world triggered the break. So with none but the unconscience girl to break the lull of the madness it would seem would last forever. If only some one would challange the madness they might just bring him back before he was lost to the reaver state of mind he was having.
