In a steady pace Gordon walked over to the bridge holding three filing maps under his arm. He had been settled in to his quarters as well as he could, and now the time had come to notify the captain of the targets of opportunity that had been handed to him by Admiral Atherton himself.
One map contained information on an Independent war hero, or as the Alliance called him a 'war criminal'. The other contained information about an renegade Alliance surgeon who was responsible for the death of a high ranking commander, and the last one was that of a young girl, who was on the run and needed to be returned to her grandmother.
Gordon found the captain on the bridge, right where he should be.
"Captain Borden?" Gordon asked. "May I please have a word with you in private?"

(OOC: this can be set in transit between Persephone and St Alban's) The captain heard Miller coming from the sound of gait. He turned and instantly noticed some files the man was holding, and knew that they contained some informationor objective that the Alliance wanted.
"Of course you can, Miller," he looked around and listened for a second to make sure no one was within earshot or lip reading distance. "Now what news does the Admiral send?" Borden took an educated guess about this. He knew that only a few admirals, Generals and some key members of parliament had any idea about this mission and once the parliament members signed off, they didn't care any more. The Generals were likely to be dealing with ground troops and the training thereof. He didn't know which Admiral it was so he stayed slightly vague on that part.
These were the types of thoughts that always went through Borden's mind. He was constantly analyzing. "We could speak in my quarters, so as to avoid eavesdropping, if you would like," nodding to a nearby door. (There's an outer room in the captains quarters that can be used if any of the crew wish to speak with the captain privately)

"We could speak in my quarters, so as to avoid eavesdropping, if you would like,"
"Thank you captain, that would be appropriate." Gordon said as he saw captain Borden opening the door for him.
He walked in the outer room of the captain's quarter with captain Borden following him. He then turned around to present the captain with the targets of opportunity the Admiralty had given him.
"Admiral Atherton gave me three files of people we need to keep an eye out for." Gordon said. "They aren't our priority, although their capture would certainly be good for the Alliance, and as an extra there's a bounty on all three of them. Although I should warn you that all three of them are wanted alive."
Gordon handed the first file over for captain Borden to see. It contained information, and several photos of a young blond girl.
"The first one is a class 1 fugitive." Gordon continued. "Unarmed, and considered not dangerous. Her name's Arabella Hart, age 21. She ran away from her grandmother five years ago. Her grandmother's a high-up in the Londinium upperclass with connections to the Admiralty, and we would certainly be in Admiral Atherton grace if we should return this girl to her grandmother."
Gordon gave captain Borden some time to look at Hart's file, and then presented him the second one. It contained photos of a man in his early thirties.
"The second one is also a class 1 fugitive, although we have to cope with the possibility that he might be armed." Gordon said. "Leighton Sacheverell, age 32. He's a surgeon responsible for the death of one of our officials on the core. We are to find him so that he can stand trial in the High Court on Osiris."
Once again Gordon gave the captain some time to look at Sacheverell's file, and then continued with the last fugitive's file who needed to be brought to justice. It contained several photos of a man. Some were mugshots, and others were photos secretly taken during the war.
"Third one's a class 3 fugitive. Definately armed and most definately very dangerous." Gordon continued. "His name's Benjamin Barrow, better known as "Bulletproof" Ben, age 37. His file's more sensitive than the others, because the Alliance came up with a coverstory about his death, and that his body is held on Osiris. In reality he was able to escape from our grasp, more than once actually. As for his crimes, I wouldn't know where to begin. He was responsible for hundreds, if not thousands of our soldiers' deaths during the war. And before the war, he escaped the prison on Londinium along with several others and then murdered the man who had put him there. It's a big questionmark as to why the Admiralty wants him alive."
Gordon watched as captain Borden read the last file on Barrow, which was thicker than the other files.
"So what do you think captain?" Gordon asked. "Shall we inform the rest of the crew, or not yet?"

Borden looked at the first two files, a rich runaway and a murderous, surgeon. They wouldn't necessarily be easy to locate but they didn't look like they'd be too much trouble be bring in. Although, they would have to be put this Leighton in some sort of solitary confinement so as not to give away their mission to other inmates, when they caught him.
For Borden, things were rarely a case of if. He had a surety in the abilities of himself and his crew to get the job done. He thumbed through the files until he was handed the largest one. That is when he smirked a little.
"Benjamin Barrow left Persephone within the last few days. He's now the captain of a black Firefly. I didn't realize he was sucha high profile target or else I would have called him in then, but I never received any access to his file," said Borden nonchalantly while reading through the file.

"It's a sensitive case, captain." Gordon reassured Borden. "Like I said before, apart from us and those that need to know, not many people know Barrow's still alive. Well apart from that Independent scum that roams around in the 'Verse of course. And you can rely on them to keep their mouths shut when it comes to Barrow."
Gordon hated the Independents with every fibre of his body, but he also knew not to underestimate Barrow. He certainly didn't take this case too lightly, and knew that when the time would come he wouldn't approach Barrow with at least several people backing him up.
"But I'll check out records on purchases of any Fireflies in the last 14 years." Gordon added. "They're pretty hard to come by these days, so with some luck something might turn up."
Gordon paused for a second. His curiosity got the better of him. He wanted and frankly needed to know how captain Borden acquired that information about Barrow.
"Captain," Gordon continued. "May I ask how you got that information about Barrow's Firefly?"

Borden smiled for a split second. He was tempted to say Sorry, that's sensitive information, but decided against it. "The mule parked in the cargo bay, the old one next to the skiff, I bought it from their ships doctor, a former Independent medic named Dr. George West."
Captain Borden thought about something for a second, "If you get a chance have someone do a full background check on him, and if you wouldn't mind, I would like you to share this information with Ms. Sang, If I'm going to be looking for these people, I'll need my first mate's help.

"I'll run West's background as well then." Gordon replied. "I'll see what I can find about him. I'll start with contacting Ariel, see if they know something."Gordon got out his pen and wrote down what captain Borden told him about West. His name, his history, and that he was on the same ship as Barrow. Gordon knew that with a galaxy-wide APB, catching Barrow and his cronies would be a matter of days. However that wasn't an option. Informing the Fleet that Barrow was still alive might have an impact of what little morale was left. "I'll inform Sang on these files as well then." Gordon said. "With your permission, captain."Gordon then left and went to find Amaia, so that he could brief her on the fugitives as well. [OOC: Let's just pretend from here on that Gordon informed Amaia, because it would be ridiculous to do this all over again ]
