"I'm ready as ever Ben...just like old times.""Only now we're the old guys, George." Ben said as he smiled and gave George a friendly tap on the shoulder. In the meantime Robin had gotten herself ready also. "I'm ready, Cap'n""Good. Let's go." Ben said. Ben walked down the cargoramp and started stepping into the thick layer of snow. It was so cold and the blizzard was still going on so he had to put his red scarf in front of his face if he didn't want it to freeze. He stopped and took a look at the ridge on his right side. Behind it was the Alliance armory they were going to rob. Ben turned to JD to give him his instructions. "Alright JD." Ben said. "Across this ridge is the Alliance armory. There's a trail right there that you can take up, but be careful, it's probably very slippery. And keep an eye out for any motion sensors. There probably aren't any, but be careful nonetheless. As soon as you're up there, you contact me. We'll see you in a bit."Ben then turned toward Robin and George, who were standing behind him. "Alright guys." Ben said. "We're gonna go through the pass so that we'll end up in front of the armory. Let's go."The three walked through the thick snow, and into the pass, where it was significantly darker. The entire time Ben kept an eye out for any motion sensors, but there weren't any. A big mistake from the Alliance, but good luck for the Independents making their way to the armory. When they had walked through the pass, they came up on the rock where Robin and George were to set up position. There was a guard in front of the door but Robin, George and Ben managed to slip through the formation of rocks unseen to where they needed to go. "Alright guys," Ben said with a slighty toned down voice. "He didn't see us. There should be another one out here somewhere, but I can't see him."Ben then used his communicator, which he had hanging from his ear. "JD, we're in position. What's your status?"[OOC: Sorry that I 'godmodded' Robin and George a bit, but there isn't much to tell when walking somewhere, right? ]

Everyone was ready to set out. JD waited for Ben to walk down the ramp first, so he could follow him out. The wind hit his face like a cold slap, and it made his cheeks go red almost instantly. But that didn't matter. Ben turned to look at JD, and told him "Across this ridge is the Alliance armory. There's a trail right there that you can take up, but be careful, it's probably very slippery. And keep an eye out for any motion sensors. There probably aren't any, but be careful nonetheless. As soon as you're up there, you contact me. We'll see you in a bit.". JD didn't reply, he simply gave him a nod, and began to try to run up the ridge. But it was indeed slipp, so he had to settle with trudging his way up, his feet dropping through the snow, which came up to his knees. He couldn't see any sensors, but he kept low just in case. He didn't want to give the crew away. He crawled through the snow as he approached the ridge. Un-slinging his sniper rifle from his back. and placing it in front of him. He raised his hand to his ear, to turn on the comm, so he could inform Ben that he was in position, but just as he was about to press the button. "JD, we're in position. What's your status?". "I'm ready and waiting. But I can't see the second guard, Ben." He said. He knew that Ben probably already noticed this. He looked down the scope at the guard stood outside. He was shifting about, trying to keep warm. "That's one."He said to himself, as he scanned the area for the other one, but he wasn't to be seen. He then moved the gun to look down upon Ben, George and Robin down by the rock formation. Then back to the guard. The second guard poked his head out the door, and began talking to the first guard. "Come on you . Come out side, it;s not that cold." He joked to himself, wishing that the guard would make this part easier.

George had his rifle out and ready, he was just waiting for the the other guard to come out. He peaked his head out of the door, but not all the way, at least not enough to be a sure hit, even by the best sniper. The wind and snow saw to that.
George was fully in to combat mode now. He could feel his pulse steady in it's rhythm. He began to analyze everything but could not think of any way to lure the guard out without giving away their position. However, the two guards started having a light argument between themselves. George could picture imagine what it was about
Outside Guard:"Come out here, if I have to be in the cold, so do you Inside Guard: "Why?" OG:"Because we were both assigned to this shift IG: "but it's cold out there" OG: "I know that, it's also boring you Feh Feh Pi Goh IG: "what did you call me?"
At this point the guard came fully outside. George wasn't quite sure if this is exactly what was said but it was close enough. He got his gun ready to began the fight.

Ben waited for the second guard to come out as well. He took his merry old time to do so. When Ben saw George aim his rifle, he knew he had to make sure George wouldn't start shooting yet. That wasn't part of the plan after all.
"Steady old friend." Ben said to George. "Don't start shooting until I placed the charges and detonate them."
He then opened up his comms again to tell JD he was going to start going around.
"JD, I'm gonna go around and place the charges." Ben said. "Watch my back."
Ben then watched over the rock quickly to make sure the guards weren't facing in his direction. Seemed like they were still a bit preoccupied with having a discussion.
Carefully Ben maneuvered through the rock formations toward the armory, watching every now and then to make sure the guards weren't watching. In no time he reached one of the walls of the armory, where the back-up generator also was, out of sight from the guards.
Ben primed one of the charges and carefully placed it on top of the generator, where it would do most damage. He then looked for a way up on the roof, where the communications dish was.
Ben walked over to the side of the wall, and carefully peeked around and looked at the two guards, who apparently had come to a conclusion of their discussion. He also noticed that the maintenance ladder was right where it was supposed to be. However, he was going to need to time his run to the ladder if he didn't want the guards to notice him. One was facing Ben, but the other one was turned around. Ben knew he had to wait until the one facing him would turn in another direction or at least look away.
As luck would have it, the one facing him decided to answer to nature's call and stepped away to take a piss. Ben knew it was now or never and ran to the maintenance ladder and climbed it as quickly as he could. That wasn't very easy. The bars of the ladder were frozen over, which made them slippery and so cold Ben could feel it through his gloves. Nevertheless, Ben was able to make it to the roof without being seen.
Ben walked over to the communications dish and placed a charge on it as well. All he had to do now was get down and detonate them. He knew he couldn't go back the way he came, considering that wasn't part of the plan, and there was the risk of being seen.
Ben walked over to the edge of the roof. It wasn't that high to jump down but Ben knew he certainly would feel it in his old bones. He took the chance however and dropped down into a fair amount of snow. It covered the sound but it didn't made the fall any less painful.
"Oof!" Ben said with a lower voice to himself. "Remind me never to do that again..."
Ben then got up and quickly made his way toward his position at the rock, where he would be in the ideal position to flank the guards when they would come running out. As he leaned with his back against the rock, he noticed a distinct smell, which he recognized after a few seconds as urine.
"Tah mah duh hwoon dahn!" Ben cursed quietly. "Of all the rocks he could've taken a ruttin' piss on!"
Being somewhat disgusted, Ben opened his comms. It was time to order JD to kill the two guards. Then Ben would detonate the charges and if everything went to plan the other guards would come running.
"Alright guys, charges are set and I'm in position." Ben said. "JD, pop the guards!"

"JD, I'm gonna go around and place the charges." Ben said. "Watch my back.". As JD scoped out the area in front of Ben, he hoped to dear god that another guard wouldn't decide to come outside, for a smoke break and stop Ben. that could end up bad. Could even jeopardize the whole mission.
But luckily, this wasn't the case. He kept aimed near Ben so he could keep track of his progress, while occasionally quickly scouting the area. The first charges where set.
When Ben was waiting for his chance to climb the ladder, JD was sure that one of the guards had spotted him. He was bout to warn Ben, and was ready to take him out in case it was too late. But it turned out he was just looking around to see if anybody was watching, so he could go take a leak.
JD then watched as Ben placed the charges on the dish, and jump off of the side of the building. JD cringed, knowing that the drop would probably hurt. The guard returned to his post, as Ben snuck back around to his position behind a rock. "No, Ben ...Not there." He muttered to himself, watching him lean against the rock that the guard drain the lizard upon. He couldn't help but chuckle when he seen that Ben had realized this.
"Alright guys, charges are set and I'm in position." Ben said. "JD, pop the guards!" "About time." He said, taking aim at the guard closest to him. He actually had to aim the rifle, so that the target couldn't actually be seen through the scope. The wind from the blizzard was that rough.
There was a distant clap, that could just be heard over the raging blizzard, followed by a 'thip' sound, as the one guard dropped to the ground, blood splattering on the floor, tainting the white snow red. The other guard quickly turned his head, to see what had happened, but by the time he actually seen his friend laying face down in a pool of blood and snow, another bullet came streaming at him.
"Yes! Right between the eyes!" He laughed excitedly. "Okay Ben, good to go, blow the charges." He said over the comms. Now for the trickier part. Making sure that the guards who will come running, don;t get a chance to take aim enough to injure one of the crew.

"Okay Ben, good to go, blow the charges."
Ben immediately pushed the button on the detonator. There was about a split second before a loud explosion ensued, engulfing the area around it in flames. Ben could feel the heat of the explosion, it was a sensation he hadn't felt in 14 years.
The generator was blown, leaving the Purplebellies inside powerless, and their communications dish was gone, leaving them on their own.
Ben aimed his machinegun and waited for the Purplebellies to come out. He knew not all of them would come running, but he hoped that the majority of them would. That would leave only a few inside, making it easier for him and the rest of the crew to clean up.
"Don't shoot rightaway!" Ben said through the comms. "Let them come out first. Now get ready!"
Like Ben expected, the men inside of the armory came running. 7 of them came running with their guns in hand, and not wearing any armor due to being hasty. Ben waited another second to make sure all of them were outside. Now the time had come to give George, JD and Robin their cue.
"Fire!" Ben said, and waited for his crew to draw the first shot.

Robin felt a slight knot of uneasiness form in her stomach the second Ben said he was going to place the charges. No, not uneasiness. Fear. What if...?
She blinked, squeezing her eyes shut behind goggles. 'Mind on the business at hand. Stay cool.' She breathed in and out slowly as she watched Ben rush off to set the charges. She got into position behind the rock, readying herself for they fray.
Her eyes flickered between Ben and the two guards as every prayer her mother had ever uttered ran through her mind. She readied herself for the explosion, and the gunfire that would follow. The first two shots were enough to take out the two outside guards.
"Damn, he wasn't lyin' bout bein' so good.." she muttered mostly to herself.
She steadied the gun and took a long, deep, slow breath. The inside guards would come rushing out of the blazing building.
Ben's voice came hollering through her comm, she could almost hear it from George's too though. "Fire!"
A sudden rush of adrenaline shot through her, making her hands shake a little. She tightened her grip on the gun and squinted an eye as she looked through the sight. She had one easy. Bang.

The order to open fire was shouted by Ben. He could barely make it out over the wind, but his suspicion was correct when he seen a muzzle flash come from the rocks that they where behind.
JD watched as the guards as they bellowed out of the doorways, one or two of them taking cover behind what ever they could find, and some getting taken down by the shots fired by the crew. He waited for everybody to stop moving around, before he would try anything.
Sure enough, there wasn't much moving, but just simple firing now. So JD held his breath as he looked down the scope of the rifle, down at one of the guards who was reloading. "Easy shot." He claimed as the man's head was only visible to him because he was on a higher level. He moved the rifle, again so that the target couldn't be seen through the scope, checked it. and fired, so the cross winds would take care of the bullet path. It's not normal to have to move the rifle far enough so that the target couldn't be seen, but in the circumstances of there being a blizzard nearby, cross winds are extremely high.
The guard who was reloading, had just finished and was about to get up and fire again, until...'Thip'. His head got pinned down to the ground,, and blood splattered over his comrades. "SNIPER!" One of them shouted, as they all got even lower, to try and avoid the shots from afar.
"AH, MY FOOT!" Came shouts from behind a different cover. It had appeared that the bullet that traveled through the one guards head ricocheted and hit another in the foot. Blood began to seep out at an alarming rate, and the guard could do anything but panic.
JD watched as the wounded guard flailed about on the floor. He could put him out of his misery now, but he wanted him to suffer. Besides....he was going to be killed sooner or later within the next hour or so, so he can fight through the pain. So, JD began to line up his next few shots
'Thip Thip' came the sounds of the last two bullets in the clip. The first catching one of the guards across the throat, pretty much taking out the man's Adams apple, causing him to bleed out, and suffocate at the same time. What a way to go. The second bullet, was not so lucky, but still had a decent effect, as it hit the second targets gun, pinging it out of his hands.

No one had seen Ben yet. He was still hidden behind the rock at the armory's defenders flank. Silently, he counted to five and then came out and started spraying his gun and mowing the guards down through the flank. The Alliance guards didn't know what hit them. Ben's plan had worked. They were caught by surprise, and didn't have a chance in hell.
Ben saw that none of the outside guards were standing anymore. Now came the tricky part. Clearing out whoever remained inside.
"Cease fire! Cease fire!" Ben yelled.
His crew stopped firing. Ben walked over to the carnage, to a young man who apparently was shot in the foot. He was squirming around, trying to fight the pain. Ben thought it was a shame to kill this kid. He figured he could've done so much more with his life, yet he chose to side with the Alliance. Ben knew he couldn't let the kid live. No one could know who was behind the heist after all.
Somewhat reluctantly, Ben aimed his machinegun at the kid's heart and put his finger on the trigger.
"Please... no..." The kid begged. "I don't wanna die. Please mister, don't!"
Ben didn't expect the kid to take his medicine like a man. But he wasn't going to point that out to him. He didn't expect a kid like that to be brave enough to face death.
"Don't worry kid." Ben said with a toned down voice. "It's gonna be okay."
Ben then squeezed the trigger and fired a salvo in the kid's heart, killing him almost instantly. He walked over to the door and leaned against one side.
"Okay guys!" Ben said. "Stack up! JD, get your ass down here!"

By the time JD had reloaded his rifle, and looked through the sight again, it was all over. Ben had appeared from behind his rock and finished the rest off.
Ben was stood over the guy that JD had caught in the foot. He was scared, he could see that from all the way up here, without even looking through the sights. He also could see Ben saying a few words to him, before putting a bullet into him. "I hope Robin wasn't watching that." He said to himself. She might not take it too great, and he worried for her. He knew that George would understand.
JD looked at Ben's face after he shot the wounded guard. He looked sorry for him. Up until he ordered the vrew to stack up, then he was back to his normal self. JD knew this was because he was a soldier. Soldiers are tough like that. And to some degree, JD didn't envy him.
"JD, Get you ass down here." He heard Ben order. He hadn't gave it a thought of how he would actually get down. He was going to jump down, but remembered how it looked for when Ben jumped of of the roof. The ridge was even higher. The only was left was to go back the way he came. "I'll be right there." He replied through the comms, as he stood up, slung the rifle over his shoulder, and began to half run, half slide and fall back down the ridge.
He landed in front of the passage way to the armoury with a thump, as he had fell over, and landed on his shoulder. "Gorram snow!" He cursed, as he began to follow the trail, and came up behind George and Robin. He stood behind them for a moment to ask, "You two okay?", before carrying off toward where Ben was stood.

"I'm fine," George said, but he didn't totally believe it. He had shot and killed someone only a few seconds ago. However, he didn't feel anything about the killing, this is what worried him. He saw the captain shoot the injured kid in the heart but knew that it had to be done. He shook it off as best he could before replying to Ben on his comm, "We're coming."
He quickly began walking toward the entrance that was now riddled with bullet holes and dead bodies. He slipped and almost fell on his way over but was able to hold himself upright. The doctor had been slightly wounded with a graze to the shoulder but hadn't felt it yet due to the cold. It was only the heat of the blood and the cold of it freezing that alerted him. He wasn't worried about it though. He could tell it wasn't a life or limb ending wound.
When he arrived to Ben's position, he proceeded to say, "Ben, you might wanna take a shower...you smell like piss"

"Ben, you might wanna take a shower...you smell like piss"
"Thanks for pointing that out buddy." Ben responded.
The smell of piss didn't bother him after all. He had gone through much worse when escaping prison through the sewage system, and then again during the war when they fought the Alliance in the sewers during the Siege of Dhukang.
"Okay." Ben said while grabbing a flashbang. "Ready or not, we're going in. There should about five left in there, so make sure we get'm all. JD, you take point. I'll follow you. Robin, you stay next to me. George, watch our backs."
Ben then stuck his head out and quickly watched through the door before retracting his head again. The Alliance guards inside answered it with a couple of gunshots.
"Two of them. Left and right side." Ben said. "Get ready, I'm throwing a flashbang!"
Ben pulled the pin out of the flashbang and threw it in. It exploded with a loud bang and flash, disorienting the Alliance guards inside, if only for a few seconds.
"Go!" Ben yelled. "Get in there, go go go!"

Ben really did stink of piss. It wreaked. But that's not important right now, JD knew that he could laugh and joke when the job is done. If he started to mess about now, he could lose his concentration.
JD put hi back up against the wall, next to the door, as Ben told them of their roles of the CQB. This is what JD loves, to get in the think of it, feel the adrenaline as small pieces of lead, come inches away from ending your life. Some people think that he is mental for thinking so, but that's just the way he is.
"Ready or not, we're going in. There should about five left in there, so make sure we get'm all. JD, you take point. I'll follow you. Robin, you stay next to me. George, watch our backs." Ben said. JD nodded, as he inched closer to the door. He was about to check how many there where left inside, but Ben beat him to it, poking his head out, and nearly getting a bullet in the head for doing so.
"One on each side." He muttered to himself, pulling his dual pistols out of their hip holsters, watching Ben throw the flashbang through the doors. These two will be easy, it's just the one's that they can;t see who will be the problem. Upon being ordered, JD span on his toes, and barged the door open with his shoulder. He could see the two guards on either side of him, shielding their eye's and stumbling backwards, from being disorientated by the flash. Raising both arms, and aiming his favourite guns at the two, he pulled the triggers, at virtually the same time, causing both guards to drop to the floor at a harsh speed. It didn't matter, they where dead before they even hit the ground anyway.
He knew very well that those two weren't the only ones about, so he had to move quickly, and catch the others as they are running to their position. He could hear the footsteps coming already, so there wasn't much time. "We got about four guards coming." He told the group, pointing to a corridor at the end of the lobby like room. "We best take cover, and take them out as they enter." He expressed his opinion, before jumping over the reception desk, and ducking from sight of the corridors.

Ben followed JD in and saw how he quickly drew his guns and killed the two guards. The kid sure was quick, and Ben did right by hiring him.
"That's 8 and 9!" Ben said. He was counting the guards, knowing there weren't any more than 13 of them in the compound.
"We got about four guards coming. We best take cover, and take them out as they enter."
Ben didn't expect anyone to give suggestions, yet JD read his mind, and he could appreciate people taking some initiative every now and then. And with these guys down, the armory would be theirs.
"You read my mind, JD." Ben said. "We'll go with it. Everyone take cover!"
Ben saw JD jumping behind a reception desk and he himself took cover behind a piller on the opposite side of the room. He quickly reloaded his machinegun and aimed down the hallway. He could hear the footsteps running toward him and his crew.
The Alliance guards had no idea Ben and his crew had already breached the perimeter and walked straight into their doom. At the sight of them Ben opened fire and unloaded an entire clip on them before the rest of the crew even had a chance to fire as well. The guards fell down like flies as Ben came out from behind the pillar and walked over to one of the bodies.
"Nee mun doh shr sagwa!" Ben said as he kicked one of the bodies. "I still lose sleep at night thinking on how you idiots won the war!"
He then calmed down and got his head back into the game.
"Alright, that should be all of them." Ben said. "JD, check the rest of these rooms, make sure they're empty. Robin, George, let's get to the control room."
Rather than to lose time reloading the machinegun, Ben put it on his back and grabbed the submachinegun. Without any trouble, Robin, George and him made their way toward the control room. Ben sat down behind one of the computers and accessed the system. His friend Christophe, who was a computer whizkid, taught him some tricks before the war and in no time Ben found the serial number of the guns and where they were placed in the storage hangar.
To his surprise, Ben found out that they were placed right in front of the doors, it seemed that they were ready for someone to take them away.
"Oh, juh jen sh guh kwai luh duh jean-jan." Ben said. "Looks like the guns were prepped and ready for someone to take them. Jen dao mei."
He then took his communicator. It was time to call Roxanne and have her fly the Orlando in.
"Ben to Roxanne." Ben said. "All clear, fly'er in."
[Nee mun doh shr sagwa!: Idiots! All of you!] [Oh, juh jen sh guh kwai luh duh jean-jan: Oh, this is a happy development.] [Jen dao mei: Just our luck.]

Roxanne had spent a good five minutes or so on the cockpit floor before picking herself up. This move had been hard on her because she had to unpack Nathaniel’s things. She had put them away somewhere that she didn’t have to look at them until she was stronger emotionally. While she had mostly healed, whenever she touched his things…it just made everything hurt more. It would be a few more months at least. Depending on if she found a way to see his family first or not. Either way, this had put her in a very serene and calm mood that kept her focused on the job. She was normally focused either way, but today she wasn’t so concern that Lily wasn’t around to talk to on the com. Instead, she spent her time in thought in the pit on the floor before getting up and getting in the pilots seat.
She was already doing better then in the morning when she first woke up. She was talking a little it more. Per say. Roxanne wasn’t so into herself. She checked over a few things on the panel before her before she stood up to look at the controls around the room. Mainly things she didn’t need to touch when flying, but she wanted to look over them. But Roxanne needed something to fill her time until Ben called for her. The doctor and her had had a nice conversation the night before. She thought back on that to try and spend some time to get over what was going on with her.
Everything seemed to be in order. Roxanne had the power on low, just in case someone came around. It wouldn’t really register as much to the Alliance if they passed over. As she waited, she leaned back in her chair and watched the snow flutter by the cockpit window. A whirlwind was more how it was. It was a nice change up from the black they normally saw. Though she wasn’t entirely prepared for the cold. She could feel a chill through the ship due to the power being on low, so the temperature wasn’t exactly remaining stable. After she mad ea flip of the switch to have the com vibrate through the whole of the Orlando, she scurried off to her quarters to grab a sweater. She was in there and climbing back up the ladder to the cockpit when Ben’s video reverberated through the ship.
"Ben to Roxanne. All clear, fly'er in."
Roxanne scurried a little faster and flicked switched meticulously as she sat back down quickly. She felt the ship shutter as power moved throughout it’s metal linings, the wires and engine. It also purred as she lifted it up into the air, just low enough to stay out of the radar but high enough to pass through the valley to where the guns were being kept. It took maybe a minute or tow before she was there. The landing was a little tricky. She had to get low and close the hanger before she started to back it up to where the crew were waiting. The tail end where the cargo bay doors rested just rested by the entry way to where the guns and crew waited. Maybe five to ten feet travel for everything they needed to load up. Depending on how far they traveled into the Orlando.
Roxanne grabbed the intercom and called to Ben. ”All clear to open the hatch?” Her voice sounded a little more solid then it did before. Wasn’t really saying too much, but better then it had been when she first began talking to Ben before the job.
