History: Gates was born in the
City of Angels on Londinium. He was a spoiled kid who one day dreamed of being

Boy in Blue and arrested. He fell in love with the law.
He met the other love of his life after getting out of jail. She was a
Valley Girl but they still loved each other. After two years, he and
Peggy Sue Got Married and had one daughter named Arizona. He had a hard time
Raising Arizona for she was into having
Fast Times at Ridgemont High where she went to school. He was a
Family Man though with a stable job.
Nick still wanted to be a cop but his criminal record halted that dream. However, when the war started he found a way. One could say that he was
Gone in Sixty Seconds after the war started to sign up with the Alliance. He worked his way up and trained hard. After a year and half he had finally become a
Bad Lieutenant that knew how to
Kick Ass. He was assigned to lead an elite group known as the
fire birds where he earned the nickname
Ghost Rider for his ability to ride into seemingly unsurvivable situations and come back unscathed. He was considered a
National Treasure to the alliance and the
Next Lord of War. He considered these
The Best of Times. However, things changed when he was
Leaving Las Vegas after the famous battle of Las Vegas and he was shot with an
8mm bullet to the lung.
He was captured and treated by the independents. He was in a POW camp run by Generals
Amos and Andrew. General Andrew told him when he awoke, "
Welcome to Hollywood." Hollywood was the name of the most secure base of the Independent war effort. The base was located on the moon,
Deadfall. It was a nice moon but he was
Trapped in Paradise. The Warden of the camp was a Captain when the Generals were off fighting the war. He watched the Captain's movements and he often would be heard playing the mandolin, but
Never on Tuesday. He finally made an escape attempt on a tuesday by sneaking into the warden's room. The warden wasn't there and he was able to get the necessary passes to let him out. He even managed to steal
Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
He managed to take a ship and get away from
The Rock they called a moon just before the Alliance bombed the base. He was sad and angry that many of the captured alliance soldiers were killed
Knowing that an assault would have many lives. He went AWOL and by the time he got back home and his wife had already remarried for he had been presumed dead a year previous. He was
Wild at Heart, though and he got his own ship and teamed up with some
Matchstick men to make money. He eventually started doing more crimes and is now one of the most wanted smugglers in the verse.
