I recently purchased the Serenity Roleplaying Guide. It has all kinds of super interesting things. From maps to planet summaries of planets that I've never heard of. I would like to share the planets, and suggest that we think about adding them. I know, I know. Right now we have planets that haven't even been posted on yet, but these are SO super interesting, maybe we should consider it.
Border Planets::
There are a few others in the rim planets, but most of those are completely destroyed in the war and just left as black ash.
And I'm also planning on posting most of the maps here. Perhaps we could put each planet to a vote... or something of the like...
Border Planets::
- Bellerophon- Home to the private estates of the system's wealthiest folk. Anything they have is shipped in from off world, so they have no need for shops or local color. The estates themselves are the size of a small town. Is patrolled heavily by the fed and private security. But if you manage to sneak past them, there is a lot of beautiful, empty desert on this planet.
- Newhall- A newly terraformed planet with large oceans. People here live largely on small chains of islands, or floating stations on the ocean.
- Paquin- Known as the "gypsy planet," it's home to one of the largest Opera House in the 'verse, and most of the carnivals and sideshows in the 'verse. It is also home to most of the con-artists and swindlers in the system. Paquin has a unique atmosphere that makes it the most beautiful place to watch a sunset
- Santo- A once picture perfect planet home to many tourist attractors and a thriving agricultural base. Now, just a casualty of the Unification War. The casino and beautiful hotels, abandoned. Farms left in disrepair. This place is a ghost town, to say the least.
- Verbena- A beautiful planet with the opportunity to become the Alliance's poster planet for their new "Rejuvenation after Unification" campaign. They built a huge factory to supply parts for military vehicles, a promising start for many of the people there. But when a former Independent soldier-turned-terrorist bombed the structure, it left the planet scarred. Sending it's people into an economic depression and created an atmosphere of paranoia, fear, and hatred for Browncoats.
