I just came up with an idea too get the majority of all characters in one place for a topic. Thought that the Trinity, Lenore and Orlando could be on Whitefall in Jessep's Canyon for Unification Day and allow all characters a chance to interact possibly for the first time?. Maybe a meeting between ships Captains where they can talk more about joining the Uprising?. Prehaps their has been a secret fleet being assembled on the verge of the Verse?. Any ideas are welcome just thought it would be a good idea?.

I agree with Katerine, that sounds like a really cool idea. There would be lots of conversations, and the ability to have a plethora of situations : D

It occurs each year after the war, to "mark the day in which the Alliance forces defeated the resistance ("Browncoats") in the Unification War."
In "The Train Job," when Mal, Jayne, and Zoe get into a fight in a bar, it's because of Unification Day.

I know that, buuuut the Alliance pretty much is disbanded now after the thing with Serenity happened. Why would they still celebrate it? *shrug* guess they could. if some of them were still Alliance-aligned.

haha, I wasn't trying to shut anyone down! Just saying there isn't much reason for a resistance. The Independents may've lost the battle, but they pretty much won the war. <3 If you want to see how this might work, check out: watchasisoar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=oldthreads&action=display&thread=193 It's fun, but it can be hard to do because a. most people don't want to wait if someone takes too long, and the thread leaves them behind, which is sad b. it's easy to get lost in the conversations and what's going on. willing to try if you guys want to. |

I was just wondering if something like this ever panned out. seems like it could be interesting. If not maybe it could be sort of the opposite of U-Day. as in sort of a get together of all the former Browncoats to celebrate the fall of the Alliance after the uprising.
It could be done with several different locations on one planet. say the docks, a bar and on board one of the ships on the planet that is sort of "hosting" the celebration.

Well Unification Day is kind of moot at this point, since the site is based off of the aftermath after the Miranda discovery.
HOWEVER:
If the original site-plot is still being used, there is something called "The Uprising" where the browncoats sort of got a lot more freedom and pull against the Alliance. They're both more equal now, but still rivalrous. SO there could be a celebration of the NEW U-Day, aka the Uprising?
