The above post is where a list of the Iron Maiden's crew and recent voyages will be kept. Mission summaries will also be posted here below, but a separate Discussion Thread has been made for the purpose of planning/discussing plots and/or missions. Anyone interested in joining this crew should PM me, either on my account for Cap'n Keel or on the account for my perhaps more widely known character Roark Wilder. You are also welcome to ask for my MSN (i.e. Windows Live) instant messenger username and/or e-mail. Please DO NOT post in this thread if you are not a member of the Iron Maiden's crew.

Oh, and if you are interested in coming aboard the Iron Maiden, or even if you already have, you had better read and keep in mind the RPG Guide that has been posted on this site. At the risk of sounding snobbish: I am a writer, and if you make me look da fool with your n00bness I will drop-kick you and laugh maniacally as you tumble out the airlock. Our fearless leader Cap'n Keel has given me the honors
of posting up our first two missions! Here goes:

Mission 1: "Shiny Objects"[/u]

Real Time: 1/28/2011
In-Game Time: 1/23/2522

Location: Jiangyin [Salvatori Mining Compound]

Plot: The Captain and her new First Mate pinch a large
sum of privately forged platinum coins (Blackmarket
currency) from a corrupt landlord/slaver and then run
like hell back to the safety of the Iron Maiden where
the ship's Chief Mechanic Riley and the new Chief Pilot
-Corran Boid- are waiting for them. The crew lift off
and high-tail it back to Santo, leaving the slaver and
his men to eat dust.


Mission 2: "Bleue Skies"[/u]

Real Time: 2/??/2011
In-Game Time: 1/28/2522

Location: Santo [Cote Bleue Harbor]

Plot: The crew of the Iron Maiden very briefly make landfall
at Cote Bleue (Blue Coast) Harbor before heading to their
secret hideout to lay low in order to use their very recently
acquired stolen loot (the platinum coins) to pay off a debt.
While doing so they come across Percy Du'Bois and Reina
V. Stone, a pair of adventurous rogues that have gotten
themselves into a spot of trouble and are a mite anxious
to find a way back out of it again.


Mission 3: "Dog Days [Part 1]"[/u]

Real Time: 2/13/2011
In-Game Time: 2/13/2522

Location: Whitefall

Plot: Aeryn receives a disturbing message from an
old friend, a woman by the name of Marlo Bancroft. This
causes the crew to change course and head to Paquin
at full-burn. Marlo has been abducted by a gang that has
been "bird-doggin" the town she lives in, and it's up to
Aeryn and the others to save the day. During all this the
crew comes across a man called Walter "Wolf" Baynes,
a former Independent soldier looking for work...

Time for an update on the thread Dog Days [Part 1]:

[/li][li] The job the crew will be doing on Whitefall is rather simple: A ten man gang has been 'bird-doggin' (i.e. harrassing/looting) a smallish town on Whitefall. Marlo Bancroft, a former employee of Blue Sun and neurochemist, has been abducted by these ruffians, but managed to send a Wave to the Iron Maiden asking for help. If the bird-doggers find out who Marlo really is, they will surely hand her over to either Blue Sun or the Alliance for the reward. Irony is, their reward would be execution, but that's perhaps a story for another time...

[/li][li] Riena, Nate, and James are free and welcome to post, since they have all already been hired on. Unless Tezz would rather have the crew meet James for the first time on Whitefall, which is totally fine too. Percy Du'Bois was also going to be with us for a time, at least originally. Let me know if anything has changed Darren.
