Okay guys!

Just wanted to apologize for my absence of late. Retail is ugly around the holidays, and I was working six days a week for a while.

Unfortunately for my wallet, but fortunately for my social life, my hours just got cut...drastically. I only work like fourteen hours next week.

This means I'll be coming back to the site a lot more often, taking care of things a lot more.

I know the other admins are also busy with their lives, and we've been taking in a lot more members lately. To help with the load, I've made Roark a co-admin. He can accept applications that are up to the standard the site's been striving for and help moderate according to site rules.

I appreciate everyone that's still hanging around. As we're all living, breathing people outside of the rp world with our own agendas, there will always be high and low points over the years with a site. I'm glad this site is still around. =]

I'll also take this opportunity to ask you all to please direct any questions to us, and any requests [changing a character's rank if they've gotten on a ship, etc]. It's hard for us to keep up with so many members and so many different roleplays, so it's nice to keep us updated whenever possible.

Since we have been getting more members I wanted to add my two-cents as well.

I wanted to ask that for those who have more than one character if you could please take a few minutes to add them on 'the list' topic (Link: watchasisoar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=alts&action=display&thread=177 )
So it's a little easier to keep track of everyone's character

Hey there ladies 'n menfolk! ;]

Since we have recently had the pleasure of gaining several new members,
I wanted to give y'all (heh, I said "y'all"...) a few reminders about the
character creation process:

1.) Remember to read the Site Rules.

2.) Make sure to check out the RPG Guide.

3.) Look over the Official Timeline so you'll know what year your character was born.

4.) Then, of course, is the How To Make A Character thread.

Now to the main points I wanted to bring out:

5.) For the convenience of your fellow members and the Admins, please list the characters you play in the signature of each of your accounts. It just makes things easier.

6.) Don't forget to post your Face Claims to lay claim to the likeness of the celebrity and/or play-by you're using for your characters. I would suggest doing this even while still working on a new character, since celebrity claims are done by a first-come, first-serve basis.
